Hospital. . .
Tommy's POV:
"Nervous?" Asked Mom. I shook my head.
"Nope." I said. "Because I have a great doctor who actually cares about me." Mom smiled and the door opened. My doctor, Nurse Kellie entered with a clipboard and pen in her hand, a white nurse robe on her.
"Good afternoon Mrs Ratliff." She said as she closed the door behind her.
"Good afternoon." Said Mom.
"Hi." I said.
"Hi Tommy." She said. "How you been?"
"Okay, I guess." I said with a shrugged. Kellie smiled and put the clipboard aside. She checked my health status and then pulled out a needle with a liquid in it. Mom smiled and left the room. I put my arm out and Kellie smiled. She gently stabbed me with the needle, making me wince.
"So how have things been with your crush?" She asked. Kellie knew I was gay and that I liked someone. She even made the ship name for us: Adommy Joel Lambliff.
"Not too good." I said. "He started dating Sauli Koskinen three months ago." Kellie frowned.
"Has he talked to you?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said. "He wanted to sit with me at lunch time today." Kellie gently squeezed more of the liquid into my arm.
"And what did you say?" She asked.
"I asked him if it was a joke." I said. "He said it wasn't. I could kinda feel he was sad about it...until his boyfriend came over and took him away to another table."
"In that case," said Kellie. "Adam was actually being nice. You shouldn't have questioned him."
"I know and I regret questioning him." I said. The kiss Sauli and Adam shared in Sauli's locker played in my mind. "I...saw Sauli and Adam kissing. Sauli was pressing Adam to his locker."
"Oh honey that must have been hurtful." Said Kellie.
"I-It was." I whispered ad a few tears rolled down my cheeks. Kellie took out the needle and threw it away. She placed a Band-Aid on my arm and my body shook as I started crying.
"Oh honey..." Kellie said as she knelt down and hugged me. I hugged her back as I cried into her shoulder.
"S-Sauli is right." I said.
"About what?" Asked Kellie.
"H-He told me...A-Adam...would never...d-date someone...with...a disease." I said.
"That isn't true." She said. "I feel it isn't. If it was true, he wouldn't even talk to you. You know what you should do?"
"What?" I asked.
"When Sauli isn't with Adam," Kellie started as we pulled back and she wiped away my tears. "Invite Adam over to your house."
"I-I don't know." I said as I played with my fingers. "I-I'll try...but thank you Kellie." She smiled and we stood up.
"Your Mom is outside." She said, so we went outside. Kellie handed me a cherry lollipop and we said goodbye to her. We got inside the car and Mom drove home.

Home. . .
Tommy's POV:
When we got home, I ran upstairs to my room and sighed. Sauli threaten to hit me tomorrow if I didn't do his social studies essay, Jessica's essay, Monte's essay, Drake's essay and Jenny's essay. I also had to do my essay. Worst of all, the paper had to be five pages long. I started working on Jenny's paper as I used my notes.

*knock* *knock*
"Who is it?" I asked and the door opened. Mom came in and I smiled. She smiled back.
"I made some steak with mashed potatoes, graving, and vegetables." She said as she placed a plate beside the computer along with a fork and a glass of soda.
"Thank you Mom." I said as she smiled and left. I sighed. I finished Jenny's paper. Above that, the class also had math homework, which were ten math problems. I groaned and continued working on the essays.
I feel so bad for Tommy. I had a friend who had to do that and I got so mad at her bullies. Tommy's nurse is such a marvelous nurse, right adommybearforever? *smirks and winks*
