You Fade Away

School. . .

Tommy's POV:

I waited outside my locker and I found Sauli followed by Monte, Jenny, and Jessica. They stopped in front of me and I gave them their homework. With that, they left. A hand tapped my shoulder. I turned around and I gasped. Adam was in front of me.

"Are you okay?" Asked Adam. I yawned and nodded.

"Yeah I'm...fine.." I said as I felt myself wanting to sleep. I tried to walk away, but I failed and fell. I didn't hit the ground though. Adam had caught me. His arms were around my waist. Oh great. He felt how skinny I am. Now I'm a total freak for him. His blue eyes studied me for a moment.

"You have bags under your eyes." Said Adam. "Did you sleep last night?"

"No-- Yes." I said. Adam raised an eyebrow. I sighed as I looked down and shook my head.

"Why not?" Adam asked. "You need to rest. The body needs to rest."

"Its because of Sauli." I said. "I had to do his homework, Jenny's homework, Monte's homework, and Jessica's homework." Adam's eyes widened.

"What, why?" He asked. He seemed mad. I started shaking a little. Adam noticed it since he smiled. "I'm not mad at you."

"Its cause...I-I was threaten." I said.

"How?" He asked.

"Sauli threaten to hit me today if I didn't do his homework and if he doesn't get a good grade." I said. "The others threaten me like that too." Adam shook his head.

"Sauli and I will have to talk." Said Adam.

"No, please no." I begged. "I-I'm going to get hit by him."

"Its not okay that he's making you do things." Said Adam. "They will continue doing it if someone doesn't say anything!" I gave him a glare.

"And does that someone have to be you?!" I asked. Adam's eyes widened. I gulped. "I'm sorry. I---"

"No its cool." He said. "You don't want me to help. Its fine." With that, he started walking away. I sighed. I made him go away again. I felt tears going down my cheeks. Quickly I wiped away my tears and sighed. I better go to first class.

I went to my first class and entered. That's when I saw Adam talking with Sauli, Jessica, Jenny, and Monte. I went to take a seat in the back and Adam sat in the front. I could feel Sauli's eyes on me. I was feeling scare. I felt like he was going to hurt me...badly.

School was over. I was walking down the hall when Sauli pressed me to my locker and punched me. I screamed in pain as he kept hitting me...until he stopped and threw me to the floor. He grabbed me from my collar shirt as I cried.

"Next time," he said. "Do not go snitch about things!" He punched my stomach before he left. I stood up, grabbed my backpack and went outside before I could meet up with Adam or any other person who desired to beat me up.

Hospital. . .

Tommy's POV:

"How did this happened?" Asked Kellie as she cleaned up my wounds. I winced as she added medical alcohol into one of my wounds.

"S-Sauli hit me." I stuttered. "B-Because Adam...tried to defend me." Kellie smiled.

"So did you told him about what I told you to tell him?" She asked. I shook my head.

"I saw him this morning and...we got into a little fight." I said and sighed. "I'm never going to be able to be with him."

"You'll be able to be with him, I believe it." She said and I nodded. Kellie put a Band-Aid on my wrist and smiled. "All done."

"Thank you Kellie." I said and I hugged her. She hugged me back and I smiled. We pulled back and we exit her office. My Mom was waiting outside.

"Bye Kellie and thank you." Said Mom.

"No problem." She said. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." I replied as we got out of the hospital. Mom and I got in the car and went home.
