Lunch. . .
Tommy's POV:
Lunch time had come. Great. Adam and I were going to sit together in the table I always sat at by myself. I was finishing the drawing of a banquet of roses I had drawn in my notebook. I wasn't going to eat. Everyone in the school knew about my eating disorder. Sauli and some guys came up to me.
"You're not eating?" Asked Sauli. I shook my head.
"Aww, no wonder he's about to die." Said Monte and they left laughing.
"Hey baby." Said Adam as he sat down with a tray of food in his hands. He pecked my lips and I smiled. "Are you okay? I saw the guys coming over to you."
"Yeah I'm fine." I said. "You worry too much."
"Its my job as your boyfriend, baby doll." He said and I blushed.
"You are so romantic, you know that?" I said and Adam smirked, then winked. I giggled and continued drawing. Adam brought a notebook and he started writing as he ate. "So what are you doing?"
"I forgot to do the social studies worksheet." He said and I rolled my eyes. I helped him fill in some of the places and Adam smiled. "Thanks."
"Welcome." I said and continued drawing. My stomach started churning. I didn't feel well. Everything in the cafeteria made me feel sick, especially the food.
"Are you okay?" Asked Adam. I shook my head as he came over to me. Nausea rose up. I stood up, ran out of the cafeteria and went inside the bathrooms. I went to the last stall and knelt in front of the toilet as I threw up. My hair was falling to my face. I tried to steady myself with one hand and pull my hair out of my face with my other hand. I gave up and steady myself with my two hands. Someone pulled my hair back.
"Baby its okay." Said a soothing voice. "You've got me."
"My stomach hurts." I said with pain.
"A lot?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Want an early dismissal baby?" He asked and I nodded. After a minute I stopped throwing up, so Adam helped me stand up. We went to the sink and Adam washed around my mouth. "Let's go to the office."
"Okay." I replied in a low voice as Adam wrapped an arm around me and we got out of the bathrooms. When we got to the office, I felt my lungs closing. Immediately I gripped Adam's shirt tightly as I took very deep breaths. "I-I...c-can't...breathe..." I gasped out and Adam placed his hands on my cheeks to make me look at him in the eyes.
"Breathe like me." He whispered. "Look at me."
"What can I help you in?" Asked the principal.
"Tommy needs an early dismissal." Adam said. The principal nodded, went to his desk and picked up the phone. I was getting pale and finding it very hard to breathe.
"Hey." Adam said and I looked at him. "Breathe in...breathe out...in...out..." I nodded as I tried to copy his breathing. Adam smiled and softly kissed me. After we pulled back, I just snuggled up to him, and closed my eyes.
"Tommy?" Said a female voice. I smiled when I heard Kellie's voice, but I didn't wanted to open my eyes.
"Hi." Adam said. "Um...Tommy fell asleep." Kellie
"I can see that." She said and giggled again. "Let's get him home." I felt myself being lifted and taken.
"Sleep while you can honey." Adam's voice whispered and kissed my cheek, making me smile.
