He immediately felt dizzy, as he first heard the music come from Suga's usual corner. He speeded up and hid in the back of the crowd, enjoying the sound of a song he'd never heard before.

It was a warm day, and yet the rapper was wearing a denim jacket way too big for him and a pair of skinny jeans with several cuts through the fabric. His red hair was hidden under his cap, the one with his name written on.
Again, Jimin couldn't help but stare at him: he was definitely beautiful.

A message popped up on his display and distracted him from his thoughts.

TAE - 07:56 _ *Late again¿*

Jimin bit his lip and typed back a short answer.

JM - 07:57 _ *I'm ill. TTYL*

He hated lying to his friend and swore he'd tell him the truth as soon as possible, for he knew he would have freaked out if only he'd known what he was about to do now.

TAE - 07:58 _ *Okay. TTYL*

Jimin sighed and let his phone slip back into his pocket. As he looked up, he realised Suga's eyes were stuck on him and he couldn't help but blush: he could swear he was smiling behind the myc.
Time passed, and the people that had been admiring his performance begun to leave; an hour later Suga stopped singing and began to collect his stuff. Jimin was still standing on the footpath at opposite side of the road, trying to come up with something to say that wouldn't make him sound like a pathetic jerk.
Eventually, he crossed the road.

«Hi.» Jimin waved his small hand towards the red-haired guy, shyly approaching him.

«Uh? Oh. Hi. – Suga greeted him with a sly grin – You took your time, mh?».

«What?».

«You took your time. – he said again, struggling with his stereo's jacks in the mean while – I saw you.».

«Oh. You mean ... I am sorry for what happened yest-».

«I mean last week. Every morning. And by the way, aren't you supposed to be at school now?».

«I-I was wondering if you ... - Jimin sighed – coffee?».

He had never felt so embarrassed.

He lowered his head, waiting for Suga to laugh at him.

«You mean you will be the one paying?» he asked instead.

The kid nodded frantically, looking up at him.

«Fine. Help me out.» the rapper bossed, leaving a black backpack fall a few inches away from Jimin's feet. Then he turned around and begun to walk away.

They ended up ordering at the counter of Jimin's -and apparently also Suga's- favourite cafè.
The bartender handed them their cups with a cheerful smile and they headed to a small table next to the window; they sat silently for a while before someone actually decided to say something.

«So?» the rapper asked eventually, taking a sip of his Americano.

Jimin was still a bit dizzy but managed to pull himself together and put down his utterly sweet cappuccino.

«So ... I attend the Academy. The one next to the theat-».

«I know who you are, kid. The Times had your pretty face printed on its front page a few months ago. Best dancer in town? Congrats.» the guy scoffed, and even though his tone was almost annoyed, his eyes were peering at the dongsaeng in interest.

Jimin couldn't help but feel flattered: someone had actually recognised him! The new perspective boosted his confidence and made him feel less ashamed.

«I have this final exam to pass. I have to set up a show. Write something to dance on. Dancing is fine, but about the melody ... » he tilted his head to the side, frowning.

«So? You can dance. Then, do it. You can balance the grades.».

Jimin sighed, staring at his cup: «I'll be getting only one mark. For both the disciplines. And the mark has to be good, or I will fail the year.».

Suga blinked twice in confusion, giving the kid a sceptical look: «How comes you fail a test and you fail the whole year?».

«My music teacher ... he is also the school's principal. And he kind of hates me.» the dongsaeng admitted, twiddling his own fingers.

«Oh. Okay. So, let me guess, kid. You want me to help you, don't you?» the red-haired guy suggested, and Jimin nodded, blushing a bit.

«How? I mean ... kid, I don't even know you.».

«I-I know but ... please. You are great and I really need to pass this test!» he urged back, stressing out the fact that he really thought he was great.

Plus, nobody could resist Jimin's aegyo, and he knew it.

Proudly, he observed Suga's mocking smile fade in a less secure, puzzled expression and the kid could bet he was double thinking the whole request; he sipped his cappuccino, enjoying the song coming from the stereo on the counter, waiting for the hyung to say something.

«Fine. – Suga consented eventually in a sigh – But I can't promise you anything. And I have no patience, kid, so listen carefully to what I say, cause I'm not going to say it twice.».

Jimin managed to keep a poker face, but inside his head, he was celebrating -still not sure if the reason was just the fact that he might have found a way not to fail his exam.

«I need to see something you have already worked on. And we'll need a piano. And ... ».

By the time they managed to set up a meeting for the following day, it was time for Jimin to meet Kookie at the gym.

«You wanna come with me?».

"Why the hell did I ask? What's wrong with me? We just met!" the kid mentally kicked himself, blushing.

«No thanks. I have to go, too. See you tomorrow, kid.».

Fun enough, Jimin spent the rest of the day looking forward to it.
