«So, what did the kid say?» Suga eventually asked, as the waiter left toward the kitchen with their orders scribbled on a light blue block notes.

«Uh? – Jimin frowned in confusion, looking up at him – About what?».

Yoong smirked: «About that hickey you covered up so well before leaving your house.» he hinted, sipping the only beer Jimin had allowed him to have.

Alcohol has never killed anyone!” Yoongi had complained, as the kid had forbidden him to ask for it.
Actually, it has. And since you are driving, you are not allowed to drink any.” the other had stated back.
How am I supposed to celebrate us with mineral water?” Yoongi had pouted, and several complains later his boyfriend had allowed him to have a beer.

Jimin blushed vividly, reaching with his fingers the now invisible bruise that Suga had left him hours earlier: though it was impossible to be seen, his hyung's eyes knew exactly where to find it and the kid's skin felt like catching fire under that hungry look.

He should have known that some makeup wouldn't have made Yoongi forget about its presence.

«Did he get jealous?» Suga insisted.

«I … I don't know. He didn't really say anything. But Namjoon-hyung patted my shoulder.» Jimin explained, twiddling his fork.

The rapper laughed and reached out to squeeze his boyfriend's hand: «You are so cute, baby.» he purred, making the kid blush even more before his eyes.

Luckily, they didn't have to wait too long for their plates to arrive, and they ate their food chatting cheerfully, sharing bites because “You must try this!”.

They went through different topics: school -of course-and their melody, then they discussed some stuff they had happened to watch on TV and by the time the waiter brought them their desserts, Yoongi had ended up talking about his career in music.

«I'd really like to turn it into something real, you know. Namjoon did it and I think it's great but at the same time I can't help but look down at myself and wonder if I'll ever succeed.» he concluded, digging a hole with his spoon into his cheesecake.

Jimin had been listening silently, so glad that the shy guy he was so desperately in love with had finally decided to open himself to him: he had told about how he had begun to love music, about the first time he had heard “fly” and felt like he had finally found what he wanted to do with his life.

«And I told myself “this is my one and only life so whatever it may be I should try becoming the No.1 for once. I couldn’t reach No.1 with studies, but I thought I could with music” * .» he explained, and with a frown he continued, telling how bad his parents had reacted when they had found out he wouldn't have gone to university; eventually they had ended up accepting his choice when he had managed to find a way to combine music and a“real job” -as they would define it.

The dongsaeng had listened to it all, swallowing every tiny piece of information, nodding or frowning from time to time as he mentally took notes since it was the first time Yoongi was talking about his dreams.

«I'm sure you will make it, Yoongie. Your music is great. And you are stubborn. I still don't get how is it that you haven't released an album yet.».

The rapper looked up at Jimin, his cheeks heating up a bit at those words. He wasn't used to it, not at all: being … supported was something he had rarely experienced before meeting the kid and he suddenly had to look away, for he had felt his eyes water and this time he was determined not to cry -two times in 3 days? No way.
