Last time he had practised with Namjoon, Jimin had managed to teach him a few basic moves. Unluckily, he seemed to have completely forgotten about them all, as he did his best to keep up with the music coming from the speakers.
«I would kindly suggest you shoot the video in a dark room. Where no one can see you dancing.» Jungkook mocked, trying not to laugh at the hyung's hilarious performance.
«Oh, fuck off kid. I am a rapper. I am supposed to have swag, not dancing skills.» Namjoon scoffed in response, mirroring -well, trying to mirror-Jimin's moves.
«Ah, don't be rude Kookie. You were just like him when we began to practice together.» Jimin warned.
The maknae rolled his eyes: «Why don't you do with him what you did with Yoongi-hyung? I bet he'd learn 10 times quicker if both of you were drunk.».
Jimin froze, turning around to face the maknae.
«What did you ... how'd you know about it?».
He wasn't angry. Just ... surprised?
«I went out with Taehyung and Hoseok. They ended up telling me about the night they talked for the first time and Hope told us how came you left your phone in his car.».
Just like that day at the arcade, Jimin could swear that there was something the kid was holding back, but before he could ask him about it, Namjoon playfully punched his shoulder: «Is there something you didn't tell us, Jiminie?» making him blush at the memory.
«It's nothing ... » he chuckled, earning a suspicious grin from the hyung.
«Nothing? I don't know why, but I can't really believe you.».
«I ... it's just ... » he began, but his cheeks heated up even more.
«It's just that he still thinks of me as a baby, so he can't tell you about it as long as I'm still here. - Jungkook commented - But it's fine, 'cause I'm leaving. See you tomorrow, Jimin. Bye Nam.».
«What th-are you alright Kookie?».
But the maknae didn't answer, for he was already out of the door by the time Jimin had spoken.
«Ah, what's wrong with that kid?» Namjoon asked eventually.
«He said he has had some problems at school. I guess he is going through a stressful semester, too. Maybe he has a few subjects he's not really good at, even though he never told us about it.».
«Yeah, and I bet those subjects are called "Jimin-hyung" and "expressing feelings". - the rapper scoffed - I'm telling you, the kid is jealous.».
«What do you mean, hyung?» Jimin was sincerely confused.
«Ah, wake up Jiminie. Jungkook's problem is not school. It's you and your boyfriend.».
«Y-you must be kidding me, Nam. He's not jealous. He ... he can't be! He's been the one that suggested me to ask Yoongi out in the first place!».
«People change their minds. Maybe he didn't think you'd end up together. Maybe he was ready to comfort you after Suga's rejection. I don't know. Maybe he's just really dumb.».
«He can't be jealous!» Jimin yelped again, making the rapper roll his eyes.
«Fine. Think what you want. Shall we go back to my choreo? Otherwise, I'll never learn it.».
The dongsaeng shook the thought of Kookie off his mind, nodded to the hyung and went back to their practice.

In 24 hours Jimin managed to forget completely what Namjoon had told him during that training. Plus, in the following days Jungkook's mood had gone back to his usual bitter-sweet mix of softness and sassiness.
Namjoon joined the kid's meeting the whole week long, struggling with his choreo: by Friday he had managed to learn half of it but had earned in exchange lots of bruises and a sprained wrist.
«You should put some ice on it. The bandage alone won't be much effective, will it?» Jimin suggested, as the three of them took a seat each at a table next to the café's window.
«I will. As soon as I go home I'll ask Jin to take care of it. I'd only manage to make it worse.».
«Seems legit. At least now we know that the only thing you will ever be able to perform is the breakdance. I mean, literally.».
«You're lucky it was fun, kid. But yo-» the rapper began but got immediately cut off.
«Joonie! You alright?!».
Seokjin had rushed into the local, reaching for his boyfriend.
«I'm fine. Just sprained my wrist.» Namjoon shrugged.
«I was so worried!».
«Why would you? And by the way, how'd you know about it?» he was sincerely perplexed.
«Jungkookie texted me. He said "God of destruction strikes again". I thought something serious had happened.».
Namjoon rolled his eyes, turning around to look at the maknae: «One day I'm going to punch you.» he scoffed, shaking his head.
«Fine. But not now, 'cause I'm taking you home.» Jin hurried, pulling his boyfriend's sleeve.
«But why? I'm fine. I can wait.».
«So you don't need me to take care of it? Okay. I guess you won't even need to be cheered up then.» the hyung commented, earning an interested look from Namjoon.
«Oh, actually ... - he stood up, pulling him closer - I think I'll definitely need you to take care of it. And cheer me up. Take me home, baby. Please? My wrist hurts so bad ... » he exaggerated.
Seokjin chuckled and the kids gave each other an exasperated look.
The hyungs stepped outside, Namjoon's healthy hand resting on Jin's butt to make sure everybody would know he was his boy.
«They are just so gross sometimes.» Kookie pointed out, bringing his attention back to his icy drink.
«Y-yes. So gross.» Jimin agreed and he couldn't help but chuckle, as he imagined the maknae's reaction if only he'd known how "gross" could he and Yoongi be together.
