Matts P.O.V.

I think today is the day to ask Kaci to go out with me...I decided to dress up and give her a rose too. I put on a black v-neck with regular skinny jeans and a brown belt with a pair of sperrys to match it.(girls like it when guys match) I grabbed my keys and my wallet off my dresser and left. I went to Target to buy a single rose and a box of chocolates. Time to be romantic! I bought the stuff and then headed to Kacis house. Though, right when I got into her driveway my stomach dropped. I got out of my truck and up to her door. *KNOCK* *KNOCK* Someone came to the door. There eyes were stained with tears and was in yoga pants with a baggy shirt. It was Kaci... " Are you alright?" I asked concered. "Im moving!" she said and then hugged me as tight as she could. I couldnt help but hug back. I cant believe shes leaving! She cant leave! "What?! Why? Where?" I said so fast but slow enough for her to understand. She let go and back up, "California! My mom got an offer to go to California, she accpeted last night! I cant stay her byself either because im not of age to live on my own yet..." she cried. Then stopped... "Why are you hands behind your back?" she said curious. Oh yeah, i forgot... but I couldnt ask her out now! Shes leaving! How would I ever see her? "Hello? Matt...?" she said snapping her fingers in my face. "I wanted to ask you something... but it.... it doesnt matter anymore..." I said backing up before she could see what it was. "What?! Tell me!" she yelled. I didnt want to make her upset more than she already is. "It doesnt matter now. Your going away..." I said backing up more to my truck. "Matt...please..." she said. "I have an idea!" I said trying to change the subject. "What?" she said. "You can stay here and live with me! My mom wouldnt mind... she loves you!" I said to her. Her eyes popped open. "I cant live with you!" she said as if i was crazy. "Yes you can! Just until you move out which is only another year!" I said to her. "Why do you have a rose and a box of chocolates in your hand?' she said. I looked down and my hands were by my side instead of behind my back. I have to ask her now. "Kaci... will you go out with me?" I said handing her the rose and the chocolates as if it was valentines day. "What?" she said. My stomach dropped again. "I know we are best friends and all but I really like you and I want to bee more then friends!" I told her. I wanted her to just say yes and hug me but she just looked confused. As if i was speaking a different language...

Kacis P.O.V.

"Kaci... will you go out with me?" Matt said handing me the rose and the chocolates. "What?" I said. My stomach dropped  and I had no idea what to say...I like him and I want to say yes but I feel like it would feel really werid! "I know we are best friends and all but I really like you and I want to bee more then friends!" He went on. I really wanted to say yes but I just froze. I couldnt say anything! But then I felt a smile appear on my face and Matt smiled too. Then I said,"Yes!" I jumped up and hung my arms around his neck. But then i realized,... what am I going to do? Im moving! And my mom would never let me live with my boyfriend. Plus, I cant go stay with Alice because she left for spring break. "We cant..." I said letting go and backing up. "What do you mean?" he said. He looked heart broken. "Im moving! We cant be together!" I said. honestly, I dont want to do the long lasting thing. I just couldnt. We wouldnt ever see each other. "Like I said, you can live with me and my family!" he said. Yet, looked puzzled, I couldnt understand what he was feeling. "Do you really think my mom is going to let me live with my boyfriend?" I told him "I cant Matt... I have to go to California with my family..." I said. He couldnt say anything. He handed me the box of chocolates and the rose. Then, just walked away and got in his truck. Without saying anything or showing any emotion, he lefted...
