Chapter Three

"I think I'll go see why this Phoenix guy has a death boner for me." I said. Leon looked disappointed, I can tell he wanted me to go to the press conference and avenge Emma. "What about Vincent? And Dr. Lynch's daughter! We can use her to get to him!" he said desperately trying to get me to change my mind. "Have Team RWBY go with you to the press conference. I'm pretty sure they'll be in the lookout for me." I said.

"But you see Derek, I was kinda hoping you would come so you could um, kill Vincent." Leon said, "Why can't you do it? You're a cop, haven't shot your gun yet?" I asked, "I'm still a rookie and I don't think I'm ready to do such a big thing." Leon answered. "You shot at Goliath when he attacked the police station and ran over him with your car." I called out, "That guy was on some sort of super steroids! By the time you got there I knew none of my attacks would kill him, slow him down maybe, but not kill." He said.

"In other words you don't know what to do with him once you find him?" I guessed, "I can't really arrest a bodyguard for doing his job."
"Just point your gun and pull the trigger, trust me. I was scared to pull the trigger also when I was in the White Fang, but...yeah that's it. I was just scared to pull the trigger." I said ending how I felt about my first kill. "Well, most of society aren't raised to kill people without hesitation." Schnee commented, "Well, that's your problem. I'm going to see what's up with the fire dude." I said getting up from the bed.

"Wait, you can't just leave the hospital, especially in your condition!" Blake called out. "Yeah well, fuck the police!" I exclaimed as I hop off the bed and start crawling my way out the hospital. "You're not really going to crawl out of here." Schnee claimed. I just ignore her and kept going. "He's still crawling." Yang said. "When I heard about the Blood Wolf I wasn't expecting this." Said Leon. Once they realized I was actually going to try to crawl my way out, they got me a wheelchair.

"So how are you going to fight without your foot and arm? The robot arm Lynch gave you is definitely gone." Yang said, "I think Ironwood would be willing to give me some metal limbs, if not then I'll just steal it." I answered. "Robbing Atlas with an arm and a foot missing?" Schnee questioned, "Still got my semblance." I said. "Please don't, we don't need an other Truax Massacre." Little Red begged followed by her famous sad puppy face. "Come on, don't do that. Not the puppy face." She puts on her hood to make herself look cuter. I go 'Aww!' in my head, but stood my ground. Little Red then picks up Celia.

"Celia, do the face I taught you." Celia's wolf ears then droop down, her eyes widen, and pouts. I growl in defeat, "Fine, I won't steal from Atlas if Ironwood refuses to help." I said.
"Pinky promise?" Little Red asked as she offers her cute little pinky.
"Pinky promise." I promised followed by wrapping her pinky with mine. I'll have Ursula do it for me. Celia then offers her little pinky, does she even know what we're talking about? Whatever, I wrap my pinky around hers too. She smiles and hops on my lap to snuggle me, I caress her soft gray hair. "Big brother." She softly muttered.

I give her a warm smile and kissed her head, "I missed you little sis." I softly said. "Aww!" exclaimed the four girls. I blush in embarrassment. The elevator then gets to the first floor.
Yang pushes me past the front desk, "Working again?" asked the clerk.
"Yup." I answered.

About halfway there a limo rolls up on us. The window lowers to reveal Ironwood, "Ozpin asked me to pick you guys up." After team RWBY helping me with getting in the car and the rest getting in except Leon, he said he had an errand to run. "So what's with the ride? I doubt you said yes on picking us up out the kindness of your own heart." I questioned. Ironwood picks up a large rectangular crate next to him on his seat. "The hospital called Beacon to report about a student. Once they told Ozpin about how you lost your foot and cybernetic arm. He asked me to order some cybernetic limbs for you and since you've shown improvement on your behavior, I've decided to give you some." He said as he opened the crate revealing a bright shiny sliver robot arm and foot.
