I couldn't believe that my own mother would send me from my prep-academy to this drop-dead hell-hole. Sighing, I trudged on, so overjoyed to begin school. I passed the odd-looking man who stared at me like I was garbage as I traveled towards my dorm. I shoved past the sickening black uniformed teens as if they were children, accidentally pushing one over in the process without even saying sorry. Plain faces started at me with both confusion and fear.

I guess even though they're all wearing black crested with white they weren't up to see a real goth chick.

Smiling, I slid past teachers hoarding kids into classes to get to my dormitory when suddenly I heard a boom of laughter. Annoyed, I looked ahead and noticed a small group of kids smoking outside the walls of the school. Short brown hair, another with a blond mullet. I couldn't help but smirk cruelly in their direction. They were such fools, just like how I was.

Making my way up the stairs to the top floor of the girls dorm was tougher than it would seem, I told myself. The class bell rang and the hallway was empty. Silent. But despite nobody in sight, I could feel the presence of somebody else here with me. I quickly found my way around to room 36, a key and booklet hastily stuffed under the door to keep away from prying eyes. I was reaching down to grab the papers when shuffling feet caught my attention.

"You shouldn't be here. Get to class And quit messing with other peoples stuff." The masculine voice belonged to a tall, handsome man that didn't look like he was too excited to get back to class either. I waved my hands around in front of me and continued to pick up what rightfully belonged to me.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but this is my stuff, so butt out." Lifting the pages with info and brushing my curled black hair behind me, I continued to opening the door. A gruff noise of annoyance came from his mouth.

"What did I just tell you? Get to class before your kicked out." He seemed so amazingly calm, no emotion flowing in his voice. This pissed me off further. I turned to face him. He had stark white hair and strange purple eyes that lit up his features. Well, they would light up his features if he hadn't  been acting so cold. I looked him over, placing my hands on my hips.

"Well sorry for being new here and having to go see the chairman after I get my room situated." Finding the keyhole, I shoved the key inside, turned, and headed into the room. Slamming the door behind me, I began to undress from my black Satan dress to my stiletto high heels. I didn't notice The Boy had came in until I heard him suck in a breath.

My reaction was to throw the boot at him.

A loud thwack came from the contact as he yelped in pain. covering his nose, he let his emotions get the better of him as he shouted, "What the hell was that for?!"

I flinched at his voice. Sure, I had been yelled at before, but the last time I had....well, let's just say I really don't want to talk about it.

My face must have given me away because his instantly softened as he threw the boot onto my new bed and turned to face the door, only to stop before closing it. I rubbed my arms as he turned to face me. His cold glare from before had left me with goosebumps, I was trying to rub them away, create friction or whatever. His eyes were cold as ever now, bu they seemed to hold something different than before...pain?

"You shouldn't do that. It could mean a lot of trouble as you grow older and also when you feel like changing yourself." The door swinged shut after that, me to wonder what he meant by all that. But I didn't have to ask what he had meant.

I knew what he was talking about were the cross shaped scars and burn marks that covered my arms and legs.

The chairman was extremely nice and comfortable to be around. And he was totally trusting.

It sickened me. Listening to him blab on and on and on. It was a living hell. Not like I wasn't already there, but this one made you go through lectures for a life time.

"...and anyway my....blah,blah,blah......called me by that but I told him......yadda,yadda,yadda....met my son?" My dazed expression caused him to wave his arms in my face. I swatted them away.

"What the hell do you want you old geaser?!" I was pissed from earlier a now. I regreted my words but he brushed them off.

"I said would you like to meet my son and daughter? I'm sure you'll like Zero, he's quite a charmer." I groaned as the headmaster cried over pictures of his daughter. There as a knock on the door behind me just before a brown haired girl walked in. Headmasters eyes sparkled in delight a the sight of her.

"Oh Yuki! I'm very glad you could be here! Where's Zero?" Her eyes seemed to glow too and she smiled.

"Zero said he'd catch up later." She turned to me. "Who's this? I've never seen her before."

"She's a new student here. Sammy Hughes." I frowned at my name. I was usually mistaken for a boy, but I never really got used to it. I could feel Yuki's chocolate eyes digging into my back, so I gave her a glare of my own. Flustered, she faced the door, opening it enough for all the students in the hall to get a view. Not like there were any there. Her smile looked forced and extremely sweet, my stomach doing a flip at her too kind voice.

"So Sammy. Would you like a tour?" Without a word, I silently followed her voice down the hall sub-consciously. My mind was else where from a couple hours ago when The Boy intruded in my privacy. At least he was kind enough to not come closer and stare. He didn't take advantage of me either.

Maybe this school wasn't going to be so bad.
