I'm just that way tho ;D So hope you enjoy this chapter, I'll be uploading a lot more now cause,...well the story is nearing the ending now, but I knew if I continued as I did I wouldn't finish. So maybe 1 or 2 a day if I can, and if I really want to, 3-4. Thanks for support, please feel free to comment on your thoughts after this chapter!~

~~~###~~~
I watched as the building burned, like a huge campfire before a lazily flying bug. I couldn't move, my whole being frozen in fear, shock and anger. So this is why Nial didn't want me to come back. He wanted them to all die...! Shaking my head, I swooped in a low bow towards the Academy. It wasn't completely burned down, but you could tell it had been like this for awhile. My mind was starting to get more active as I thought about all the possibilities. Nial could have started it. Maybe it was someone else, and he didn't want me in danger. I don't know, but because of him I could lose, Zero. I could lose Yuki, HeadMaster, all my classmates..and I'm not the only one that would miss them.
I could feel the heat from where I flew, which wasn't far off, but it was still surprising. I obviously hadn't felt such an intense feeling of both the heat and defensiveness against whoever did this. I went down and back up in a V shape, kicking off the ground for extra air. I came up above the middle of the school. There were kids grouped up, screaming. Some were stuck alone, afraid to move as I was, and some had dragged unconscious people from the fires. Zero and HeadMaster were both no where to be seen, but I had sighted Yuki. We had become friends, companions at the least, during these last few months. I could tell she disliked the idea of me and Zero dating, but I hadn't really cared.
I landed in a darkened part of the grounds of Cross Academy and ran up behind Yuki. Kaname Kuran, also a Vampire I'm guessing from the whole 'Night Class' thing, was beside her. I didn't care at the moment. I tapped her shoulder and she swirled around in a swift motion. Slight surprise was on her face as she grabbed my shoulders, shaking them violently.
"Oh my god, Sammy! Do you know where Zero is? HeadMaster is rounding up students outside the gate and Sensei is helping kids inside...I don't think anyones died-"
"I don't smell their burning flesh, so no." Kaname interjected.
"-but it's still terrible! We're stuck here!" She motioned to all the rubble surrounding them. I frowned, Yuki freaked, and Kaname just stared at me. Like he was expecting me to do something. My frowned deepened, and Kaname smiled. It looked sweet and serene, but I could tell he plastered it on to give Yuki some hope.
"Why Samantha, don't you have some power to help with this situation? To get us out of here. I'm sure you do." His smiled inched up his face as I realised what he was saying. He knew what I was, and I bet he wanted to see what measures I would go to to keep Yuki and my friends safe, the distance I would go to save Zero. Yuki brightened along with the student body in this ring of fire.
"Really you can?!"
"Will you help us Sammy? Please!"
"You're the best Samantha! Let's do this!" Voices that cheered rang through out the court yard. I bit my lip at the thought. I could save them, but what would they think of me after? I mean, it's bad enough that probably the whole Night Class noticed me being different. I leaned back in thought. I drew blood from my lip and tasted it. Salty. Is this what Zero and Kaname, all the Night Class students tasted when they drank blood, or was it just-
An explosion sounded from my right, away from students but it blasted bits oh wood that was on fire towards us. Everyone looked panicky towards me.
"You can do something about this right Sammy?" One lone girl stood up to me, watching my with tears in her eyes. I looked over everyone's faces. Hurt, lonely, scared and-
Trustful.
Sighing, I stood upright. "Alright kiddies, I can do something about all this but-" I was cut off by cheering and I hissed. "Quiet!" They quieted down, their eyes still sparkling with hope. "But I don't know how it'll work out, or how long I can use my abilities. So go as fast as you can when I make an opening, but don't hurt each other. Kapeesh?" They all nodded vigorously, so I sighed, one of my many sighed that just screamed shut up in it's own way. I glared at Kaname one last time. "I'll get you for this."
I stood in front of the biggest arch there was presently, hopefully it lead towards an exit, or maybe even where the other students were. We could hear screaming from the other side, so I was pretty positive this was the place. Maybe not, but it was worth a shot. I raised both my hands towards the flames, and they started glowing purple, but it was faint. Damn... I knew I would have to reveal my wings in order to help these people. I glanced back at everyone with hurt in my eyes.
"Promise you won't judge me?" They all nodded, a few confused, as I let out a long breath. As that breath left me, slowly, my wings appeared behind me, glowing that iridescent light that attracted all attention on me. Soft gasps from behind me sounded as the beat once and quivered, almost as if they were cold. They lifted me 5 feet off the ground, my hands now actually inside the fire. It was a tickling sensation, and I felt something like threads on the tips of my fingers. All pulling up. I slowly went up along with them, and somehow like pulling up blinds, the fire lifted up with me. It seemed to quake and roar at the fact it was being over thrown, and suddenly there was a great weight on my shoulders. I gasped and struggled to keep my hold. I looked back behind me to see mouths agape, people shocked. I felt like scolding them.
"Idiots, go through now!" They seemed to snap out of their daze and ran. I couldn't see where it lead, but I heard cries of relief and people crying in joy. I think. Yuki stayed behind, Kaname grabbing her hand and smiling as he tried to pull her through. But she stayed there, her eyes on me, wide and teary as she almost whispered.
"A...a demon..you must be a demon...." I smiled sadly, and as if lift a 50 pound barbell, I heaved it up one last time.
"It doesn't matter right now, get going Yuki!" She nodded, her look now determined, as I saw her run past my vision and under the flames I held up. Kaname came around, standing where Yuki once was.
"I give you my sincerest apology for having to stress your body for such a minor thing, I hope you can forgive the Night Class." I almost let go and burst out laughing. He was such a pathetic person, I don't know why everyone else couldn't see that. I nodded again, watching as he too disappeared behind the fire and out to the other side (It was obvious-fangirl screams). I let the purple light snake back form my hands to go onto my body, and I watched as the flames came crashing down to the ground again. Embers and stray wood flew, but it wasn't all that dangerous. My fingers were tingling again. As I looked over my hands, there were minor singes, but there was also something lingering from before. There were some dark tendrils laying on my hands.
BAM! The sound noised from above, a single blow that sent t=some people flying.
Creatures from the Abyss broke free, falling from the sky. They fell, their screeching cause my ears to ring and people to shiver and cry. The Darkness from hell had come to earth.
Hey everyone! I know I sound like I hate Kaname or something in this chapter. I really don't, it's just sometimes his words seem a little, exaggerated. Sorry for the late upload today and the cliffhanger.Feel free to comment on your thoughts on this, I know it's quite a weird thing in this chapter that's going on.
Thank you!~
