As I close my door, I find everyone talking to each other with sodas in their hands. I walk over to Farkle, who is keeping an obvious amount of distance away from Zay.

"Hey, what's up?" I say, patting his back.

"Oh, nothing much," he answers as he takes a sip of his Coke. "How's Riley?"

"She had a lot of medicine," I say with a chuckle. "She's asleep now."

"That's good. She needs some rest outside of a hospital bed."

I look over to Zay, Smackle, and Lucas. They're all having a conversation that appeared to be funny to them. I could tell Farkle felt left out, so I took his hand and joined in.

"Hey guys!" I say as I approached the three of them.

"Hey, how's Riley doing?" Lucas asks, placing his Sprite on the counter.

"Out like a light. The medicine hit her hard," I said, grabbing a soda out of the fridge.

"Can I talk to you?" I hear Zay ask. I close the fridge door to see him and Farkle walking to a secluded area.

"How's Zay doing?" I ask Smackle and Lucas.

"He's going over there to patch things up," Smackle responded, nudging my arm with her elbow.

"Are they getting back together?"

"Not sure. All Z told us was that he felt really bad for ignoring Farkle," Lucas said.

All of us stayed silent as we watch the two talk. Eventually, the two hugged and walked back towards us.

"Act natural!" Smackle whispered loudly. We created a fake conversation in attempt to make it look like we weren't watching them.

"Just friends," the two of them said in sync.

"Is everything good now?" Lucas asked, grabbing his drink.

"Everything is great. A possible relationship can form in the future. But for now," Farkle stated, turning to Zay, "friends are more important."

They exchange smiles which makes the three of feel relieved.

They're totally in love.

"Hey guys," Shawn said, wrapping his arm around my neck. "How's Riley doing?"

"Just fine. Very tired though," I reply, blushing.

"Aww," the five of them say.

"I got it, I got it," I snap with a chuckle.

"Well I hope everything gets back to normal soon," he said to us as he walked back towards the parents.

"Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since Riley's sat in the bay window," Lucas stated.

"I know!" I replied with a mouthful of Root Beer. "My house is boring, I want to sit in her window with her again."

"Tomorrow you can. Tomorrow all of us can. Besides, it's a Saturday. We can hang out all day," Farkle said, wrapping his arm around me.

"I'd like that," I said in a sleepy voice. I yawned and spilled all of the soda onto the floor.

"Dang... Be right back, gotta clean that up," I said as I put the can onto the counter.

I walk to the bathroom and grab some paper towels from under the sink. Once I stand up, I find Zay followed me.

"Oh, Zay! Hey, what's up?"

"Want me to clean the spill and you can get to bed? You must be exhausted," he said, holding his hand out to take a roll of paper towels.

"Thanks, but I'm alright. I might hit the hay soon though."
