Chapter 1
"God damn it!" Megan exclaimed as she entered her high school. She had forgotten her geometry homework and she didn't want to hear her geometry teacher, Mr. Martinez, bitch about her forgetting her math homework again. She just shrugged it off. Megan knew that he would just say to get it done by next time, or she would just copy from one of her friends. She wasn't going to stress about that.
Megan was of medium stature. She always had her makeup done beautifully, which was complementary to her fashion style, nice dark colors. Her hair was always on point also. She had her iconic long, curly, dark red hair. It was especially exquisite whenever whenever she straightens it, but those were in rare occasions due to the fact that she was always busy. She was a very funny gal and very sweet, but she comes from a tough background, so she'll get crunk with you if she needs to.
Megan was sixteen years old. She was a sophomore and goes to a prestigious Fine Arts Academy. She auditioned and got accepted into the Art Strand, of course she was an excellent artist. There are seven Strands in this academy. There is Band, Art, Dance, Orchestra, Mariachi, Theater (also the the theater techies) and Vocal Music. So, there was a lot of strange characters at this Academy.
Megan walked down down the hallway into the cafeteria, where everybody waits until the bell rings for first period. She walked in and saw her friend Freddy sitting down in one of the cafeteria tables, typing something into his phone.
Freddy was one of Megan's friends and one of the six seniors in this Fine Arts Academy. He was in the Art Strand as well, so they had become good friends. He was eighteen years old. He had really short black hair. He was a southern Mexican, so he had a darker skin tone. He was a bit taller than Megan. He was also a chunkier young man, which made him a lot more fun also.
"What's up, my nigga!" Freddy greeted her as he looked up from his phone and put it away.
"Nothing much," Megan smiled as she sat down across from him. "I'm just really. I couldn't sleep last night. I was busy finishing my entry for the nature competition that's coming up."
"Yeah, I feel you. Can I see it?" Freddy asked.
Megan showed him the large Crescent board she had in her hands. It was skillfully painted. It was a painting of a beautiful woman sitting atop a large tree branch in a moonlit sky, looking upon a very green fertile forest.
"Chingon! That's badass!" Freddy complimented. "Let's see if Ms. Rodriguez likes it, though. You know how she's picky as shit."
Megan began laughing in agreement, but suddenly stopped and stared behind Freddy. Freddy was confused and looked back as well.
"Who is that?" Megan asked.
"Oh, that's that freshmen boy. His name is Noah." Freddy explained.
"Is he new or something?" Megan asked again.
Noah was tall. He had short blonde hair and shiny blue eyes. He was cute according to the girls. He was also in the Art Strand.
" Girl, he's been here since the beginning of the school year. He's just in the lower level art classes with Ms. Miller, maybe that's why you haven't seen him." Freddy told her.
Suddenly the bell rang for first period and everybody got up to go to class.
"Are you comin'?" Freddy asked. Megan didn't even look at his direction. She just looked at Noah as he exited the cafeteria. She was the last person to leave the cafeteria. Megan was deep in thought and was obviously interested in Noah. This was going to be a very interesting situation.
