PROMPTIS HIGH

Episode 5: Thought

Noctis and Prompto walked towards the front of the school gate. School ended and Prompto was heading to work but Noctis didn't know that. They arrived at the gate where Ignis awaited outside of the car.

"Prompto, I want you to meet someone" Noct patted Prompto's shoulder softly.

"Ok" Prompto smiled.

They approached Ignis and Prompto bowed.

"Iggy, this is Prompto.....a friend I hang out with"

"Hi, nice to meet you" Prompto raised his hand and Ignis shook it.

"I've heared a lot about you...I am Ignis Scientia, advisor of Prince Noctis, I'm glad the Prince has found a friend of his age, its a pleasure to meet you"

"Well someone's got to save him from all the ladies" he smirked, "haha Well the pleasure is all mine" Prompto smiled.

Noctis smirked.

"....Prompto we can drop you off at your place if you like" Noctis offered.

"No no nonono..uh...I...I can walk back
. Don't worry"

"Come on...don't be shy" Noct smirked.

"No I'm seriously alright...Noct...thank you though" Prompto said.

"........alright.....then I'll see you tomorrow" Noctis began to get in the car while Ignis held the door to him.

"Yeah......see you tomorrow" Prompto cutely waved at him.

Ignis closed the door and then looked at Prompto.

Prompto tensed a little and looked up at him.

"........"

"......" Prompto was nervous.

"......he may look intimidating but he isn't, if you need to talk to someone, he is the one to go to, you can trust and rely on him....... I see why he likes you very much" Ignis said.

Prompto loosened up and his eyes widened a bit.

"........Sure" Prompto said and then he looked down thinking.

And soon Prompto was all alone.

Trust him?

Rely on him?

Can....I? Prompto thought then looked up at the sky.

Prompto was tired of everything. But he had to be strong. He had no family, no home and the money he gets at work will now be enough to buy food.

I just don't want anyone to see the true me.........I don't want to be looked down in pity. I just want to be happy like they are. And I just don't want to be left alone.

Flashback

" I wasn't planning to open up to anyone. But I did because you are different...I like you.....you remind me somehow of me" Noct said.

"I see why he likes you very much" Ignis said.

End Flashback

What do they mean? How I'm I different? Likes me?...... And him..that Ignis........how can he tell?

Prompto sighed and decided he didn't feel like going to work today.

I have to call in but.........I don't have service anymore........

Prompto sighed and gave up, he decided he had to go to work today. He walked a few blocks where his job was located and got ready to put on a big smile.
