Episode 23: Accident

10:30am

Noct walked out his room as he rubbed the feeling off his lips after Luna had just kissed him and bumped into Gladio and Ignis standing outside in the hall.

"Where he go?" Noct said in a hurry.

"He didn't go far.  Down the hall" Ignis said.

Noct sighed and ran down the hall, "Prompto!"

"Jeez why do things get so complicated between them?" Gladio placed both his hands on his hips.

Ignis fixed his glasses,  "we should follow them, who knows what might happen"

"You're right"

Lunafreya touched her lips and thought I felt nothing.

"Prompto!"

Lunafreya heard Noct call out outside the room.

Mmh wait.. So Noct likes someone else? Who might it be?

Lunafreya sighed Like it'd be easy to tell the counsil he doesn't want to get married. But we got to do what needs to be done, they won't care. We don't have a choice.

Lunafreya walked towards the door, into the hall, to find it quiet.

She turned around and closed the door to Noct's room.

She then turned back around and saw a Glaive walking towards her from a few feet away.

She took a deep breath as she saw this Glaive slowly remove his mask and hoodie.

"Nyx" Lunafreya whispered.

"Princess" Nyx softly smiled.

"Weren't you a bit rough with Noctis?" Luna asked.

"The Prince?" Nyx scratched his neck,  "I guess I couldn't hold back"

Lunafreya smiled,  "Living up to your name?  The Hero Glaive?"

Nyx smirked, "not at all"

Lunafreya chuckled and then looked down and sighed..

Nyx looked around and took a step closer,  "Where's the Prince?"

Lunafreya looked back at him, "he stepped out. I think he went out looking for his friend"

Nyx held Lunafreya's hand.

"So,  did you talk to him?" Nyx asked quietly.

Luna brushed his hand away softly, "Mmh,  yeah but it didn't go how I originally planned it"

"How come?"

"Turns out Noct doesn't want to get married" Lunafreya whispered.

Nyx smiled,  "wow, that's good news isn't it?"

Lunafreya shrugged her shoulders,  "well for you but I don't know, the counsil won't be happy with it. But it turns out Noct actually has someone else in his mind right now"

"Oh really?" Nyx said surprised.

"Yeah" Lunafreya whispered back.

"Mmh" Nyx placed his hand on his hip.

Lunafreya looked at Nyx for several seconds.

"Luna" Nyx whispered.

"Yeah"

"Do you love him?"

"....I thought I did"

"So.. " Nyx stepped closer to Lunafreya, "I still have a chance with you"
