"You're both late" Teacher said in front of class.

"We're sorry, it won't happen again" Prompto bowed and said as he and Noct walked inside class late.

"There should be a good explanation to why you are late if you were with the Prince" The teacher said.

Both Noct and Prompto sat in their seats and the class was quiet.

"Yeah there was" Noct said not intimidated. The class sat still with the sound of Noct's voice. Noct doesn't speak in class and his voice is intimidating to others that don't know him.

"Prompto wasn't feeling well so I took him to the nurse's office. I was making sure he was alright but he is alright now. Also...dont always assume things just because someone was with me. That goes for everyone."

"Mmh alright then, sorry" The teacher was flustered and continued his lesson.

Prompto looked at Noct and smiled.

3:45pm

Noct and Prompto were heading home, both of them sitting behind as Ignis drove.

Prompto had talked to his manager earlier informing him that he would be quitting and his manager assured Prompto that if he needed the job, whenever, the job was his.

"So you quit your job?" Ignis asked.

"Yeah... "

"I'll explain later Ignis, but right now Prompto just needs to rest and relax, he deserves it" Noct said.

"Seems like you both got close during the weekend" Ignis observed.

They both looked away and blushed.

Ignis's phone suddenly rang and he picked up his phone to the sound of Gladio's voice on the line which Noct and Prompto could almost hear clearly.

"Iggy" Gladio said.

"Hello Gladio" Ignis answered.

Prompto raised his eyebrows and looked Noct.

"Gladio?" Prompto whispered.

"Yeah, he's my shield" Noct whispered back.

"Are you at Noct's place?" Gladio said on the phone.

"I'm on my way from picking him up"

"Alright"

"You need anything?"

"I wanted to talk to Noct since he's not answering his phone"

"Sure, Ill pass it on to him" Ignis lifted his phone for Noct to grab, "Gladio wants a word"

Noct reached over to grab Ignis's phone.

"Gladio" Noct spoke and Prompto just stared at him.

"Noct why aren't you picking up?" Prompto could hear Gladio scolding Noct.
