:Getting yourself emotionally wrapped up in a hunter as a demon was a shitty experience if you asked Damara. There was the long period where they hated each other and often found each other battered and bloody from each other but they always found themselves going back. And then there were the times the half Succubi had got the chance to feed off of her hunter, amazing times those were but oddly she was drawn to stay and talk to them well into the morning hours after those encounters. But her hunter was missing, had been for quite some time and it was starting to upset her, of course, they had no obligation to let her know where they were going but goddamnit they could be in trouble and she wouldn't ever know.

Come to find out they had "settled down." with someone. And was even planning on getting married?! That was definitely wedding invitation that the new unwanted person was constructing on her peep through the window. So she decided to knock on the door! Something felt off to her and usually, the instinct that came with her fox spirit half weren't wrong "Hey can I talk to your fiance? Yeah, I'm just a friend."

KARKAT: Karkat was a demon hunter by "blood." He was born into a family of demon hunters and had always been a natural at it. He was now into his late twenties but he remembered his late teen years to early twenties when he got wrapped up with the Demon girl Damara. He was able to keep it between just the two of them until not too long ago, his brother found out. He threatened to tell their parents and any other hunter around. But he didn't, his brother cared to much for him and made a deal. He told Karkat how he wanted him to be happy but not in danger so, Karkat agreed. He essentially disappeared from his old life and left everything behind. He wasn't able to tell Damara where he had gone. And soon he was able to find himself a soon to be wife and start a somewhat normal life. He had decided he didn't want his future kid to be tangled in any demon hunting. But as his fiance called him downstairs and he saw who was at the other side of the door he came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to be able to be "normal." He walked over to the two, his finace instinctively taking his hand as he looked to Damara. "Hey...long time no see."

Damara:Damara really didn't look all to enthused to see Karkat, even if she was relieved to find him in one piece she couldn't help but feel as if she wanted to rip him into said pieces. Who was he to be so dismissive about leaving her like he did? And the anger showed as her iris flicked from a bright sapphire blue to the dark maroon he was familiar with, though it'd be unnoticeable unless under close inspection as she kept the facade she held up. She looked much different than how he was used to seeing her, there were no wings or ears, her red hair completely black, she was even shorter and less tanned. "Yeah, sure has been. Was starting to wonder if you were dead." She seemed to be regard both with an air of anger. "Some would even say it's like you're living a double life." She really wish the little freckled red head at his side would find something else to do.

KARKAT: He furrowed his brows a bit and took this as a sign that Damara would like to speak alone, he looked to his fiance. "I think my friend, Damara, would like to have a word alone. Is that okay with you?" She sighed and rolled her eyes, he gave her a small kiss on the lips and she made her way upstairs, he stepped outside and closed the door behind the two of them. "Okay look, first off I'll go ahead and apologize. Sorry for disappearing but I didn't have any other choice." He crosses his arms and leans on the door, looking anywhere but at Damara. "You look different from how I remember you."

Damara:Ugh she did not like the attitude of that little twit, she couldn't help but wonder if she would take the new that Damara had seen every inch of Karkat in way she'd never comprehend in the same kind. "Yeah, I've been informed, on multiple occasions." Damara said as she folded her arms, if she pulled in on herself she be less likely to do anything to hasty. "I had to have something to walk around the day in, Porrim and her sister redesigned my charm for me." Lies by omission, that wasn't the only reason and this wasn't the only time she ever wore the charm.
