KARKAT: He hadn't gone far and he looks at Damara as she gets her stuff. "Hey, are you okay?"

:She looked between Karkat and Cronus before she cracked a smile. "Yeah, just tired."

KARKAT: He glanced at Cronus then back to Damara. "Okay, trying to rest would probably be good for all of us." He doesn't try to pry, no matter how much he wants to. He just feels like he's not allowed to anymore. He goes to the other side of the car and grabs the suitcase. "So we got two one bed rooms, who is rooming with who?" He had been wondering this on the way over but he only thought to ask now.

: "Only seems fittin to have the established couple room together, not to mention you certainly ain't the Vantas I want to get in bed with. "Cronus said and Damara agreed and she leaned herself against the car. "Might as well let the love bugs have their own room."

KARKAT: Karkat scoffs, more of a repressed laugh than anything. "So did you get the room key cards?"

: "Yeah, here Ya go chief." He said handing over one of the keys cards before they headed their separate ways to their rooms.

KARKAT: He takes the key card and walks with Damara to the room they would be sharing. He waits for Damara to get inside before he closes the door and sets the suitcase to the side. He sits in a chair next to a table in the corner of the room, looking at some brochure's that were just laying on it. He was finding something to occupy is mind while they would be waiting for a response from Jade. He sets his phone on the table just so he be able to grab it immediately when he got a call. He pulls out a second phone and plugs it in. The background that flashes on it would be familiar to Damara before he puts it back to sleep while it charges.

:Damara caught sight of the background and let out a small huff. She could remember the exact day that they had took it, back when her feather had color, dark red and near neon at the tips. Though a part of her found a slight happiness in seeing that he kept it. Setting down her back she pulled out an old t-shirt that she used to sleep in, but something came tumbling out with it, she hadn't unpacked this bag from the Meenah incident. The small item was a sterling silver ring with a bright pink gem, etched on the back was an anti possession sigil from the night Damara and Karkat found out that demons could be possessed. It show up the next day, with the aspirin and whiskey that he brought her.

KARKAT: Karkat see's the ring fall out and he walks over, picking it up and handing it back to her. "Hey, you dropped something." While his brain started going down memory lane he started to think about the day they first met. He was on a "hunting mission" all alone. It was one that hadn't been expected to be too dangerous. Funny considering he almost died. Most of it was blurred to him now. He remembers fighting, then darkness, and the next thing he had woken up to was some strange lady telling him that if he moved he would open every single wound she just took care of and he would surely bleed out. He thought of this while looking at the ring.

:She took from him and placed it back on her middle finger, probably be a good idea since they were back out and hunting. "Thanks." Her attention taken from Karkat when her phone alerted her to a text. None other than Derrick to which she promptly questioned how he got her number only to find out that Jade had been bothered into giving it to him. Rolling her eyes she tossed her phone down without locking it and went to go change in the bathroom.02:46:18
