The Unexpected

•Previously on: Love at First Sight•
After rescuing Serena from Ash, Calem tried assessing the wound on her arms. A false legend Zoroark, appeared and attacked the two after being reveal by Terrakion. After fleeing it was seen by a Calem and Serena once again and attacked Serena. Calem caught it and now they're stuck under a wooden shelter in the rain.

•Calem's POV•
I felt like her hero for a while before I noticed an interesting figure approaching our shelter. It walked closer revealing Marie, a girl whom had a crush on me back in Kanto. She held a knife.

"Marie what are you doing here?" I asked surprised. No noise came out of her mouth but even I could tell she was twitching. It was strange (and not to mention horrifying.) She walked closer and closer. "Calem..." she whispered. "I'll get you back..." she says walking ever closer. She threw the knife straight at Serena's head. I jumped in front of her. I screamed in pain as the knife struck him in the stomach. I fell to the ground, bleeding...

•Serena's POV•
I woke up about four hours after what happened with Zoroark. I look around and see Calem lying on the ground, a knife sticking out of his stomach. I freak out and check his pulse. Instantly I know it's a bad idea. I burst into tears. I hold him close "Calem! Wake up Calem! Don't leave me here alone!" I yell knowing it's too late. I look around outside for any chance anyone is around. But alas, there is no one. With my best friend dead, what am I to do? I sit under that hut he built many days past the rain. I only left to get food and water. It was on the seventh day of me being there where he showed up. Zygarde.

"Serena" he said in a soft voice. "This was not meant to happen. The knife missed his arm and killed him instead. This is only the beginning. If you could reset time... would you?"
