The Storm Brews

After catching the Zoroark, I found out she was female. I named her Zoe. I ran over to Serena and check out her wounds. I quickly pull out a bandage and some stuff to clean the cut. It's small about 3 centimeters deep and an inch long. Nothing I've done before. I clean the wound. I feel as if I'm being watched. I put the bandage on her and lean her against a tree as I am looking around. I notice something. Footprints.

I decide to stay with Serena. I make a small wooden shelter with the limbs of trees. I was very glad I did. Not too long after I'd finished it started to rain. Serena was silent but still breathing. I could tell by the slow rise and fall of her chest. (And not like that ya pervs!) I sigh and send out Zoe. She looks at me and tries to speak for a simple "Zoroark" to come out of her mouth.

I look outside, Serena's head resting on my leg when feel her stir. I look down and I see her beautiful eyes looking up at me. "Calem?" She whispers "What happened?" I can do nothing but sigh. "The Zoroark attacked you. Luckily her aim was off and simply cut your neck. Nothing that couldn't be fixed." He says smiling. She looks up at him and hugs him. He hugs her back. A supple "Thank you" escapes her lips and I smile. I was her hero...

But not for long...
