"Storm and Midnight aren't gonna like this at all, three is your limit remember that," Lexie shook her head as Olivia carried her new pup across to the "dog paradise." Olivia called her cheeky pups over, "meet your new sister," she slowly introduced them, they screw their noses up and show no aggression but ignorance and hate. "Let's get out of here," Olivia decided, "can we look at the cats first?" Lexie frowned, "I wanted to get my fat ball of fluff a friend." They continued to the box of kittens, "domestic shorties, good enough, cats aren't too cheap anyway," Lexie shrugged, picking out a tabby pattern boy. "Reptiles next!" Case shot out of the door, he really hated cats, a specially nasty little kittens. "Someone's keen," Olivia laughed, "only because your buying something and we are getting that gorgeous bird, remember!" He was acting childish and different all of a suddenly. Olivia didn't say anything and started searching for the stand that was said. "Found it!" Case raced her to the long table with containers of lizards, snakes, frogs and turtles. "I don't have experience with these animals," she worried highly that she'd kill something just to get a bird. "Don't worry, I'll help you look after what ever, now get a snake!!!" Case screamed. "Oh, I guess I'll choose a leopard gecko," she asked the guy, ignoring her boyfriends annoying tone. "But I said a s-" he crossed his arms like a child cracking a tantrum. "Do you mind?" Her mood changed from happy to annoyed, "let's just get out of here," she asked. "The bird!" Case spoke again, "here you go," she pointed to the lady who walked towards them, "while you where cracking your balls complaining I spoke to the guy and he told the lady to meet us here." She felt like a mum solving her child's problems, "okay..." Case slapped his face feelings stupid. They had filled the trolley with pet supplies and cages, including 4 birds and a gecko that crowded it. "Thank god that is over, we could have accidentally bought more shit," Lexie felt guilt. "Yikes, I ended up with 3 more handfuls." "You think that's bad? I have enough birds already but I'm too nice." The relationship goals is real, the two fought the whole trip home. "Did we all go over board?" Maria looked at the three kids who had their hands full. "No..." Case grinned, "Wow," she helped Case take his birds to his room or otherwise 'bird sanctuary.' "Favouritism right there," Lexie snorted, she had her kitten in her arms, he was asleep so it was easy to take him inside. "Midnight! Storm! Jesse!" Olivia called her dogs out of the bus, the youngest puppy stayed behind as she was still nervous. "Come on little angel," she softly tapped on the floor of the open bus. The pup hesitated for a minute but made up her fate and followed Olivia inside. "Aw look at her gorgeous blue eyes," Lexie commented as she made her way outside to discover the backyard. They watched as all the dogs interacted, sniffing the new comer with curiosity. "Be nice to her, she needed a home," Olivia explained to her two dogs who where unsure. Nervously she watched the dogs who weren't hers investigate. "This is scary," Lexie thought, "it will be easier then introducing your new kitten to your old one."
Days had past and everyone had settled down again, Olivia started to think about having a proper family again, "is it even possible to be normal at this stage?" She wondered, looking deeply into her mind, what was her purpose? "Hey Liv," Case called her by her nickname for the first time. "Aye bird man," she giggled. "Wanna go for a freeflight, I've taught a few of my birds to behave off a harness," he grinned. "Actually I want a normal day, I've been thinking about what my purpose is..." she sighed.
"So is now the right time to say, your new parents are downstairs and we where gonna freeflight in the gym of your new school?" He was calm and acted like he had said something normal. "Wait what!?" She gasped, "your joking aren't you?" She bolted down stairs to check, not even waiting for an answer. "You heard the news? We are sisters," Lexie smiled, "huh? No way!" She was even more shocked. "They are down here," Maria called, she saw two figures in front of her, "hello!" She jumped into their arms friendly. One of them spoke but she couldn't hear them, "I can't hear you!" She worried. "We can't hear you!" They replied back. Olivia was put into confusion. Everything went blank, she found herself in her bed, back at the lonely, ugly home she grew up in. "Was this all a dream? Am I really alone again?" She was shaking, "come on wake up Olivia!" She screamed in her mind. She was interrupted in thought when a tail touched her foot, a fluffy and familiar kitty jumped onto her bed in front of her, "Lucky!" She hugged the cat and started to cry, "I thought you where gone," she wailed as she touched the soul of the large cat. She went right through it, a spark feeling went off inside her. "Your not real..." she melted in her bed. Waking up to be back in the orphanage, "are you okay?" Case asked worryingly. "Yea I just had a weird as dream," she wanted to cry because it seemed so real. "Why are you here?" She started to think, she was laying on her bed and he was randomly sitting there. "We where talking about the future and you fell asleep from exhaustion, I must be boring," he laughed. "Oh whoops," she awkwardly got up and let her birds out, "when all you have to do is walk around because this place is boring, animals are the only entertainment," she complained. "At least you keep fit and not be a big blob like most kids these days, on their devices and shit." Case spoke truthfully, it is quiet sad.
