Chapter 19

"Are you and Case going to get back together?" Hunter asked nervously, "idk, he didn't show any sign of still loving me, i think he is friend-zoning me," Olivia explained, "good- i mean oh..." Hunter seemed tense. "Whats your problem?" she sniffed, "i care, from your records i read you have been through a lot and he is one of the problems," he sighed, "you read?" Olivia laughed. "Is there a problem?" he snapped, "nah its just you seem kinda dumb no offence." "I am smart i just don't show it," he rolled his eyes again. "Stop doing that, its rude, i'll roll my eyes at you next time," Olivia walked off to her room, she had cleaned it for the three new cage set ups. All her cage animals where in her big room, she had the sugar glider cage in the end corner next to her wardrobe with the rats cage next to it. Lou's tank was on top of the sugar glider cage, it was where Dragon was but that cage was in storage now. Ocean, Yoshi and Ivy's cages where lined up along the room with a pet supply drawer next to them. The dogs had their beds in the other corner and the cat slept on Olivia's bed. She had a full room now, if there was anymore room she could have the rabbit hutch in her room, but they where in the twins room as they where their pets. "You can fit another tank on the rat cage, its a ferret kingdom so it is pretty low," her father joked. "No more animals unless its someone else's," Olivia sweated, she had her limit of healthy animals, more would be too much. "The other cat can live in here if you want," he added, "leave me alone," Olivia shook her head. "It was a joke," her father grinned and left, Olivia sat down for a minute on her phone. She checked her new Instagram account for her parrots, adding a new parrot to the bio, with a introduction of her with a new post. "This is my new Eclectus parrot Ivyrose, Ivy for short, stay tuned to see videos of this beautiful young girl." She finished her post and waited for the likes and comments to roll in, she had 100k followers but not a lot of people had found her account yet because of the viral video. She placed Ivy on her new stand while the macaws sat on the home made tree stand with several branches and toys. There was a knock  at the door, "Olivia, can i come in?" she heard the voice of her only friend, Hunter entered with a big smile. "Whats up?" she asked with confusion, "you have a visitor," he explained. Olivia immediately thought of one person and melted, "its alright, you are going to make up and not be an antisocial loner all your life, its hard enough you wont have the chance to go to school to make friends, they are all you got." He was speaking like he was her father, but even better her most trusted friend and brother. She took a deep breathe and opened the door, "Olivia!" her old friend went to hug her, Olivia excepted the hug nervously. "What brings you here?" she asked curiously, "Case and i are here to visit like he said we would," she replied with a grin. She welcomed herself in and swept passed her, "wow, you live in a nice place," she gasped. Olivia nodded slowly and looked for Case, he was not anywhere in sight, maybe he was already inside, she thought for a moment. As she entered deep thought she was tapped on the shoulder and then immediately hugged from behind. She looked up with surprise, the smiling face was holding her, "Case!" she laughed, "you forgive me?" he asked sadly. "Yea of course, you know me, i find it hard to be angry with people too much, i missed you a lot," she chimed. "So how are your rascal animals?" he giggled. "I just got back from the rescue earlier, so i have more fur babies now," she grinned. "Yea, i saw you, show me," he grinned and followed her to her bedroom. He let the birds out of their cages to say hello, "hey Yoshi! remember me?" he smiled and perched her onto his arm. Ocean flew over to Olivia while Ivyrose still sat in her cage, the door was open but she was still adjusting. "Why did you call her Ivyrose, Rose wouldn't be happy," he joked. "I named her that in remembrance of you, and the lady suggested the two names," she smirked. Cases eyes gleamed, he hadn't thought she missed him that much. Hunter appeared in the door suspiciously, "having fun with your boyfriend?" he concluded, Olivia didn't speak, she wondered if Case would react to it or ignore him like she was. Case glanced at her and looked at Hunter, "what is your problem?" he mumbled, "the fact that you raped her," Hunter accused. Olivia went red, she was furious, he just wouldn't stop mentioning that day, it wasn't rape either because she was okay with it. She shook her head and closed her door, she didn't want to hear their bullshit conversation, she was left alone in her room as always. "Why does everything in my life become fucked up?" she wailed to herself, looking over at the hamster who rolled around in his bedding. "Animals are the only thing that make me happy," she shrugged, she heard the words of "never show your face here again!" Before passing out. A few hours later she woke from exhaustion, Case and Lexie had gone, it was like this day had never happened. All she knew is she'd never see them again, her parents had been told all the rumours and banned her from seeing them. She decided and she had truly was animals, why not become an animal rescuer herself?
