"Lets actually do something to get that dream off my mind?" Olivia begged and placed her birds on her shoulder. "Bird free flighting? Case asked, "you're not helping, I mean sure," it was like her dream was coming together again. "Nah its just one thing, sometimes dreams can be true but other times their just stupid," she told herself. "Lets go to the old school across from the dog park, people go there all the time, its not like its abandoned." He begged her, as usual he won. He had three birds that could be trusted, he took his others out for fresh air with their wings clipped. They couldnt go far even if they wanted to so it was safe. They had a nice big oval away from any people. "Go Jack!" Case cheered to the cockatoo which flew across the surroundings. Yuki the rainbow lori and Narla the African grey joined in, following as a flock of colour and feathers. "Yoshi, you better come back," Olivia stared at the bird as she took the harness off her. The bird flapped her great big wings and took off, she had never done this before, she felt free. Olivia was nervously eying the bird to make sure she didn't go out of sight. "Just relax, she is tamed, strong and wouldn't leave you, the wind isn't even harmful today," he insisted as he sat beside her. She sighed and lay back with the 7 birds who were on the ground, her new macaw was staring up at her, "hi Ocean," she smiled as the big baby. She stroked the bird gently as they were still bonding. "She is legit the cutest," Case grinned, "ikr, her yellow around her eyes and beak though," Olivia grinned. "What are the new birds names?" she still hadn't heard him mention them. "Ive decided on the red Eclectus to be Rose, new green cheek to be Kiwi and the ringneck will be Branch." He explained happy to give them names. "Noice," she put her thumb up in agreement, Rose was the friendly one, walking onto her leg and asking for pats. "Hey pretty girl, you can be my bird if you want," she hugged the parrot as if they where bonded. The bird didn't bite her face, she tolerated it. "Wtf she won't let me do that with her," Case blinked with jealousy, "oops." Olivia placed the bird on the ground, "must like females more," she thought. "Sexist," he rolled his eyes. She laughed as it was true with most birds, choosing one gender over the other. Yoshi flew back to her at that moment, "good girl," she stroked the bird and placed her on the floor, she was tired from her first day, she'd get stronger as she increase the flight time. Her and Ocean pruned each other like they where lovers but they where really just sisters. "Wanna settle down for some lunch down the road?" he offered, "I've got some money," he started to collect all his birds and place them on his shoulders, Narla and Jack where on his shoulders while Rose was placed in a carrier and Kiwi and Branch where placed in a carrier together. They crossed the road to a near Macdonald's, people stared at them weirdly as they passed, "yea I have birds you got a problem?" Olivia noticed a group of teens staring at her. Jack and Narla flew onto a near chair as Olivia sat down outside with them, Case placed the carriers on the ground next to her and went and ordered. Ocean and Yoshi perched on the chair next to the other two. People crowded them, taking photos. "Wow weirdo's" Olivia thought, "Excuse me, can we have some privacy?" Case asked as he returned, everyone turned without a word, "spoilt brats, how many animals have your parents bought you?" a lady snorted. "We don't have parents," Olivia snapped, everything went silent for a while, "your orphans?" she changed her mood and went into a emotional mood. Within a hour they had left for home, Olivia checked Instagram casually, "Case! look at this," her tone turned shocked, "what?" he grabbed her phone and looked at the post in front of it, "wow, 1,000,000 views on such beautiful parrots," he looked at Olivia nervously. "They made our birds famous," she thought, unfortunately they put us in the video, explaining 'adopt these two from Maria's home for forgotten children." "Great now we are gonna be adopted in no time," she didn't know if she would be happy with strange people taking her away from her friends. "At least we will attract animal lovers and wont make us get rid of our animals," Case tried to stick to the positive vibes. Nothing was said till they entered the door. "Did you see that video of Ocean and Yoshi dancing while you two eat, then Jack screams "loser!" at the end." Lexie baled her eyes out with laughter, "yea, we are famous and this place is now on the 'market'". Olivia whipped past her with worry, "You'll get out of here then!" Lexie cheered, "well I don't want to leave you..." Olivia sighed. "Its gonna happen Liv, its not in your power," she replied sadly. "I've been alone long enough," Olivia sulked and shut the door of her room. She stared out of the window blankly, Jesse ran around in front of her, trying to get her attention. "Not now," she snapped at the puppy as she head butted her leg. The other two joined in just to be annoying, "get out!" she kicked them outside angrily. She immediately felt guilty and realised she had frightened them, the three confusedly sat on the stair near the outside door and waited to be let in again, sadness show in their eyes. "I'm sorry, I am just in a bad mood," she sighed, letting them on her bed. They lay beside her, one by one. By 6pm the video had gone viral, "what will happen tomorrow?" She asked herself nervously.
