"You what?!" Maria disgustedly looked at the boy who stood in front of her, "but miss, it wasn't my fault, all I intended to do was walk and give my birds fresh air." Case argued with confusion, "you are not to leave this house again, as long as I'm your carrier I am responsible, so you better hope your adopted soon boy!" the women walked off with rage and locked the door of her bedroom (peace and quite room). Olivia started to act miserable that day, she felt like a screw up, "its my fault, I chose the beach." She cried deeply in his arms, "its so not your fault, it just happened," he sighed. "I'm sorry, I want to be alone right now," he looked down with disappointment as she shut the door in his face. Olivia placed herself on her bed, Storm and Midnight lay in their beds and stared at her, they where dogs and didn't understand but they could sense it. The girl was strict and didn't allow them on her bed anymore during the day unless she commanded them to. Yoshi sat on top of her cage and ate from her food bowl on the play gym/roof door opening. She stared around the room with boredom, "what is there to do?" she asked herself as she paced around the room in circles. She looked at Yoshi as she continued to eat, it was the only active thing in the room, the sugar gliders still napped and the dogs snoozed in their large fluffy bed with the cat curled beside them for once. "What do you say, wanna go in the aviary and say hello to your bird friends?" she asked the bird as she finished another seed. The bird didn't even look at her, "rude," she grunted, placing her hand on the cage, the bird immediately stepped up, she still had her harness on so it was easy to transport her to the aviary safely. Olivia placed the bird on a perch inside the huge cage. She saw Yoshi's mother look down at them, only a few of the birds where tamed, she stepped back as the birds interacted. A king parrot who was Maria's came towards her curiously, she slowly reached her hand out with a nut to feed him. His eyes pinged slightly but it didn't scare her. The bird quickly snatched the nut and walked away sassily. "Cheeky Clyde, back at it again," she shook her head. Yoshi had come back to her short after, expecting head scratches and attention once again. Her wild parents didn't effect her. "Weird bird," Olivia mumbled as she danced on her perch dramatically and quacked. "Your not a duck!" She face palmed herself and walked out of the aviary as the bird climbed up her arm. "There you are! I was looking all over for you!" Lexie exclaimed as she entered the building, "Maria wants to take us all to petcon tomorrow, last year we couldn't go because Katie didn't like animals very much." She seemed so excited, "I can't wait to look in the adoption sections, maybe I'll pick up another pet," she told herself. "Maybe, what's the point of holding back, only an animal lover will like us so let's stay in the care forever." Lexie frowned, "I hope tf not," Olivia snapped, "language!" Maria yelled as she passed.

"Hurry up girls! We are waiting!" Case called them impatiently, they had hired a bus to go in, he had his Umbrella cockatoo Jack and African Grey parrot Narla in cat carriers in the "bag area." Olivia joined him on the seat next to him with Yoshi on her shoulder and Storm and Midnight by her feet. "I think your gonna enjoy this, you've never been anywhere have you?" Lexie was happy for her, "no, my parents don't exist to take me." Olivia explained harshly. Case hugged her for comfort, she rest her head on his shoulder happily. "We are here!" the silence was cut as the other orphan Bruce cheered, he raced out first, followed by Lexie. Olivia and Case exchanged glances and followed them once Case had Narla and Jack harnessed up. "Wow there's so many animals here," Olivia gasped with excitement. "I got Jack from here 5 years ago, he was just 8 weeks old," his eyes lit up, "probably the best present ever from my mum." "That's so cool, I wont leave this place without buying something" she predicted cheekily. "That's exactly why I have so many birds, it used to be my mums favourite day of the year besides Christmas to go and see new available birds to learn about and care for." He ended the conversation and walked ahead to a room that had a sign stating "bird island." "That's the place to take our fids," he smiled, "but you cant bring dogs so lets take them to the 'dog parking station' outside of the area." Olivia nodded and clipped the chain attached to the wall to the dog leashes. "Be back later doggos!" she cheered, two girls immediately came up to them, "we can look after them for you if you like" one explained, "thanks for your kindness," she nodded and left them. "Do you seriously trust them?" Case frowned paranoid and worried. "Yea, they wont go anywhere anyway, Midnight doesn't let strangers walk him, he is smart enough to know." She insisted and walked straight to the new surroundings. She saw Macaws, African Greys, Conures, Quakers, Alexandrines, Ringnecks, Senegals, Cockatoos, Lorikeets, Eclectus, Caique, King parrots, Love-birds, Kakariki's, parrotlets and budgies all around her, the fact she could name them all made her feel special. "This is truly incredible," Case commented, he placed his two parrots on a free stand, close to a cheeky Jenday conure that seemed to be too interested in the pair. "Omg Olivia look! a Hyacinth macaw!" he jumped up in the sight of the big beautiful bird. "I've never seen one up close," her eyes sparkled.
