Final peal.

40 17 15

As the heart dips into the shady bowers of hurt

The light plays a frivolous game

Of dancing rays seemingly not afraid.

The darkness follows them

Tempted but quiet.

Lingering long fingers wanting to grasp

At wistful tunes nonchalantly played

Concealed sadnessess on display

Yet the darkness stays in shadows

Darkest, darker, dark to winsome light

All shades, each a heartbreak away

Time waits for hurts to heal

Before sounding the final peal.
