"Hey, Sapphire!" Alyssa said into the phone, smiling. She had gotten a call from Sapphire while she was googling "How to find a life", because she really needed one.

"Hey, Alyssa. Are you busy?" Sapphire asked. Alyssa's dumbass shook her head, forgetting that Sapphire couldn't see her.

How fuckin' cliche of you.

"Uhh hello?" Sapphire said, "Are you going to say something?"

"I shook my head no." Alyssa said dumbfoundedely.

"But I-" Sapphire shook off Alyssa's stupidity, it happened all the time. "Nevermind."

"Did you need something?" Alyssa asked, sitting back in her desk chair.

"Uhh, not much. Just wanted to talk." Sapphire stated, and Alyssa sighed of relief. She finally found something to do with her life.

"A'ight. I can talk to you." Alyssa smiled like a maniac, happy that Sapphire couldn't see her red face through the phone.

"Kay cool." Sapphire said, and Alyssa heard a few shuffles of pencils and the shutting of an art box. How she knew it was an art box? The world may never know. "Something odd happened today."

"What?" Alyssa asked, taking a bite of one of her Oreos she left on her desk in case she ever got hungry.

Shit now I'm hungry.

"Shut up." Alyssa mumbled, but Sapphire heard her.

"Huh?" Sapphire asked, as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Nothing," Alyssa took another bite of her Oreo, "It was just the author. What were you saying?"

"Ohhh," Sapphire dragged out in understatement. "So anyways, I was just looking outside my window, wondering what to do, y'know?-"

"Oh, so your usual Saturday." Alyssa pointed out, reaching for another Oreo.

"Yeah," Sapphire laughed. "So like, I was drawing and shit and when I got done, I noticed it looked a lot like you."

Alyssa nearly dropped her cookie at that statement. She smiled, and was somehow happy about how Sapphire drew her.

"So I guess I accidentally drew you?? I don't know, but you can have a copy of the drawing if you'd like." Sapphire offered.

"Daw, Sapphi, I'd love one." Alyssa smiled, rolling the chair back and forth.

"Great, I'll give you it later today." Sapphire informed her. A moment a silence passed, and Sapphire came back to the line. "My mom just called me to do something, I have to go. Talk to you later?"

Alyssa was disappointed that Sapphire had to go, but she was looking forward to their next conversation. "Alright, I'll talk to you later."

"Great, bye!" Sapphire said, hanging up. Alyssa sighed, grabbing another Oreo and sitting back again. She didn't have much to do, and her mind had been acting weird lately.

It was as if she gained feelings for Sapphire. Every time they were together, or if they accidentally touched, Alyssa could feel tingles inside of her building up. She couldn't tell whether or not it was feelings or not, but she was tired of ignoring it.

"Let's put these feelings to the test," Alyssa mumbled, reaching for her phone, but she couldn't reach close enough. She was sat comfortably in her desk chair, and she didn't want to have to move.

"On second though, these feelings can wait." Alyssa said, closing her eyes.
