Diedre rubbed her sweaty hands on her denim skirt as nervousness crept upon her. She stared back at her own house to find a face splitting grin on Sophie's face, who gave her thumbs up as she caught her staring at her.

Diedre was so going to kill Petr . She sent back a fake grin and used her free hand to send back a thumbs up sign. The other hand of course was occupied holding the basket filled with freshly baked muffins.

Sophie had woken her up early this morning, disturbing her wonderful sleep by the way, just to tell her Petr had called saying he was sick and so he wouldn't be able to operate on the computer today.

Ignoring the way worry for his health flooded her, she held her self back from asking " So what?" because that would just send alarm bells flying on Sophie's head and because Sophie seemed super excited about the fact that she had finally caught a man.

The way Sophie seemed excited mad sit seem like she had never caught a man's attention, okay maybe she hadn't caught any one's attention I'm a while, but that was her decision.

She knocked on the door again, resisting the urge to pound on it instead. She had planned to enjoy her two weeks leave from work, not to get woken up to make muffins for a sick man!

Finally, when she lost her patience, she turned the door knob and was actually surprised when the door came open on its own. This time around, she didn't bother to stop the feeling of worry that flooded her. She cautiously stepped inside, straining her ears to check if she could hear any sign of him being awake but all that greeted her was silence.

Making sure the door was properly locked now, she walked to the kitchen and dropped the basket of muffins on the countertop. His house had the same layout as hers so that meant he should probably be in the larger room out of the two rooms that the house had.

She walked towards that direction, calling his name as she did. Not bothering to knock, she pushed the door open and sighed in relief when she saw he was just asleep and nothing bad had happened.

She swallowed when she stared at his back. Surely, someone's back couldn't be that hot?





But obviously Petr was currently proving her wrong, his head was laid on the pillow facing the window opposite her and his hand was thrown carelessly on the pillow, the contours of his back muscles invited her to trace them with her finger. She knew he worked out but nothing had prepared her for this, if just his back looked like then- Oh Gawd, the guy had dimples on his back!

Clearing her throat, Diedre cursed her self for ogling a sick guy. She kneeled on the bed and leaned over Petr back to wake home. After ogling his face a few minutes of course. The guy had cheekbones to die for.

After getting her fill, she finally decided to wake him up.
She called his name again and tapped him repeatedly - her worry increasing at how serious his fever seemed to be. His body was hot, as in feverish not the other one. Not that he was lacking in that category - but all he did was murmur strange things she didn't understand and go back to sleep. Finally, having enough, she shoved him.

That seemed to work, or at least that was what she thought until he grabbed her with strength she did not know a sick man could still have and pulled her under the blanket with him.

He wrapped his muscular arm around her and pulled her to his body. Diedre was still confused at how fast it had happened without her even noticing, she turned to yell at him but he was already asleep and -
OH MY GAWD!!! PETR SLEPT NAKED!!!

😂😂😂😂😂 hi guys, how has the year been for you, well I can say that this is one of the most stressful years of my life with school, unforeseen exams and my online job, I barely have time to write. This was so not my plan for this book. Buy oh well, I'll try my best to update whenever I can. Happy Thanksgiving in advance. I'll try and update A Thanksgiving Miracle during that period.
