Chapter Six

"Johanna" I heard the voice from far away, I stopped staring at myself in the mirror and looked over seeing Hyungwon with six other men. They all stared at me with shock but didn't say anything "this is my girlfriend, from California. " Hyungwon said as he stood behind me and held my hand. "Hello I am Hyungwoo leader of the group and the eldest but you can call me Shonwu if having Hyungwon and Hyungwoo confuses you" he said and bowed. "I'm Hoseok , nice to meet you" he bowed and smiled a little. "Hello, I'm MinHyuk " he walked over and shook my hand "I'm Kihyun, that's Jooheon and Chang-kyun" the other two bows bowed politely "we will do our best to keep you safe and to keep our Hyungwonnie safe too" MinHyuk smiled as he looked at Hyungwon and his face became dull. I looked at everyone "you already know don't you?" I asked them as they all looked taken aback when I spoke about that. "Umm, no not really the company only gave us a brief description and Hyungwon told us only a bit. If you want to tell us you can." Kihyun said kindly. "I will -" as I was about to tell them the security came in holding 7 different boxes "here are the phones you asked for, complimentary of the company. We had to change your number your family has been contacted and we had told them to be careful and if they call to call a landline not the cell phones. Your social medias have been deleted he's been tracking them." I nodded as I listened and watched Hyungwon bow and take the phones "thank you, pick a brand and a color" he said with a smile. I looked at all the phones "I'll get the gold iPhone 7" I said and handed them back the box and saw them come with another "pick a case, " I nodded slowly and looked at them "you should get something that wouldn't be obvious of you to get" Hyungwon suggested. I nodded and grabbed a case that had roses and cherry blossoms together "you will have a new social media account that will be under our surveillance at all times" the manager said as he walked in. "The company thinks you should cut your hair and dye it. Change everything. He could possibly track you if he has a picture of you. If you change everything he won't notice you. When you go out in the streets go with Hyungwon and a member and some security. If for some reason he tracked you down here you will spilt form them and wear your hat and glasses. You will change the tone of your voice and you will walk with one of the members. Pretend you are one of them and blend in. The more you blend in the less likely he will know it's you. Your name will be changed to a Korean name." The manger continued to explain.

I only nodded and listened to everything before speaking "and what will my Korean name be?" I asked "one of the members has volunteered to make you their 'adopted' sister. It would make sense if they were since they also know English. Chang-kyun said you will be his younger sister. You will be speaking British if you speak English. You will speak Korean here. We will bring you a private instructor the faster you learn the more you will blend in. Have you ever practiced around E?" He asked "no I only did when I snuck out to see Hyungwon I never practiced at the house or around him or the girlfriend " I said. "Good. That means he won't know how you sound. As for your name here is the list you can pick from "I took the papers reading them "Lim is Chang-kyun's last name but he uses I.M. So any name that's on the list you can pick. You will still be Johanna here but outside you will go under that name. It's important that all of you don't say her name if you don't want her to be found" they all nodded as I looked at the papers. It all seemed like some witness protection program going on. I looked at all the list of names that seemed interesting "Mi-Sun sounds lovely. Eun-Tak isn't that from the goblin drama?" I asked as I looked up. "We picked the popular and common names if they don't suit you, please do tell us." The manager said, I looked back down at the list, I wanted one that was easy to remember but also one that wouldn't be a name I would pick at all, "I like the name Seyoona. I.M, Seyoona" I said "that's not on the list?" They all said "I know it's a combination of Suli, and Yeri and Johanna" I explained, they nodded as they understood. "The Doctor will be here. Go rest. Don't go out today if you need anything we can get it for you. Your transformation will begin tomorrow we will show you the color choices for you to dye your hair, later" they said. They all bowed and left the room. I got up slowly and grabbed the crutches "I got it" Hyungwon picked me up and handed the crutches to one of the staff.

It felt like hours, but only 10 minutes had passed, Hyungwon managed to fall asleep. I was awake waiting for the doctor to arrive. I wanted to sleep but no matter how much I tried, no matter how many times I tried to close my eyes. I could hear him. His violent screams, his rough hands yanking my hair, his bad breath of cigarettes and whiskey along with other things combined.I curled up into Hyungwon as I wanted to be closer to remind myself I wasn't there anymore. I knew I wasn't but my mind feared the worse. No matter what I did, it always feared the worse. It was like I was never going to escape that reality from home. It's something that scarred me mentally and physically.
