You Don't Own Me, E

Chapter Twelve

For a while things felt okay. E was gone, it made us all believe he had left Seoul but we all knew to not really trust that man cause for all we know he could still be around secretly spying. "Hey can we ask what E stands for?" Minhyuk asked as we were all just sitting around at the photo shoot on break having lunch. "So you guys really wanna know?" I said as I looked at them. Hyungwon rubbed my back knowing it would still be painful to talk about "alright I'll tell you. The E stands for Emerson. His full name is Emerson Barrett. I was in love with him when I was 16. And one time I went to his concert and well while nobody noticed he brought me backstage and gave me a drink and everything blackened. From then I woke up in that house." I said as the boys looked at me in misbelief.

"Wait he kidnapped you?!" Jooheon shouted a bit shocked "yeah, my parents don't know where I am. Well I was able to inform them because his friend who's actually his brother let me out. I was able to run to the nearest phone booth and tell them. They've been looking for me ever since." I explained "so how did you run into Hyungwon?" Shonwu asked curiously. "I was running away from him and I bumped into him when you guys came here for a tour. Hyungwon was out buying something and I begged him to hide me and from there the rest is history." I shrugged. "Yah! Our Hyungwon basically saved you" Wonho said clapping his hands.

"More like kept her safe for a while until she had to go back" Hyungwon said, "I'm sure what happened after that he didn't react so well did he?" The members asked as I laughed it off "No. umm he was really furious with me." I said as I played with my nails remembering what happened only to have Hyungwon lift my chin and kiss my cheek, "I don't want to ever see you upset over him. You're with me and you're my princess okay? I'll make sure you're never having to feel like that ever again okay?" He said as I smiled and leaned against his hug before they all got up and continued their photo shoot.

     I stood there thinking and remembering that day, it really did make him pissed. I guess that's where he got mad the most. It scared me to see E like that.

    "Where were you?" I heard the voice at the corner of the room. I looked around and swallows hard "I... I was with R..." I said as I looked around the dark room. "Don't lie." His voice sounded angry. I looked around and heard him get up and step closer. I froze into place as he walked closer "Where... were... you" he said again as he pulled me close by the hair "I went out for air!" I said as I whimpered in pain hoping he wouldn't hit me again. "LIAR! I SAW YOU WITH ANOTHER MAN! WHO WAS HE?! DOES HE KNOW WHERE WE LIVE?! DID HE FOLLOW YOU?!" He shouted as he yanked at my hair "No! He doesn't! He only bought me food at the liquor store!" I cried as he sighed and I could feel the smirk creeping up on his lip. "You never learn do you? You smell like him. Looks like you need another lesson " he whispered into my ear  as he dragged me by the hair and threw me into the bed...

    I reared up remembering that night. Although it was one of the worst nights, it was also one of the best. It's when I met Hyungwon. I remember that so vividly. He was so kind to me that night. He knew I was starving so he bought me food and smiled at me with such tenderness. I never had anyone look at me the way Hyungwon did.  With so much love in thee eyes, and with such gentleness. That night he kissed my cheek and held me tight. We exchanged numbers as he hoped to see me again. When I look back, I don't regret running away from E that night, if I hadn't escaped R while he was watching me I wouldn't have bumped into Hyungwon and I wouldn't be here with him today.
