His Fox, Caught

Ashi calmly was reading a book, the little child ran over to him, "Sir!" "Hmm? Freckles, I was wondering when you would come." The cute little circus member smiled before calmly sitting in his lap. "What are you reading?" "Well, I found this book your father has. Strangely... it's all about me." "Really? Is it true?" Ashi sighed, "Some is. Some is not. For example, this 'kitsune ball' I don't have one." He watched as the child pointed out different things in the book, answering her questions and even giving stories to her. "Your circus name." "Hmm?" "I think it should be Fox." "How creative."

Ashi gave a small chuckle before he watched Ciel fall on his butt for the fourth time in a row, "Good grief! Where did your balance go? You had it during the test. This is kids' stuff!" Ashi begun to twirl around his staff again not lighting it on fire so people close by would not be burned. A loud awe came over the crowd as Sebastian and William were competing again, Ashi sighed and just continued to twirl the staff around. He wanted to touch up on his fire working, it's been a long time since I've done this. Ashi move around fluidly, ignoring the others that watched him as he kept his eyes closed.

"Fox!" Someone shouted towards him making him turn his head, "Hmm?" He paused opening his eyes to see Beast staring at him as Joker waved, "Yes?" Joker smiled at him waving, "Come here." He walked over before he was pulled into a side hug from Joker, "Us first-stringers have a little initiation for you!" Ashi looked a little uncomfortable at the hug before a small blush appeared, "Initiation...?" Ashi was dragged away to a curtained area where it was slightly more secluded.

"Mhmm! You've got to make a promise." Joker smiled like a child towards him, Ashi looked unimpressed, "Promise?" Joker nodded as he seemed to be a little business like, "Yes." Beast walked over as she added, "You've got to promise Joker you'll do what he tells you to while you're here." Ashi raised an eyebrow but still nodded, "Then I promise. But why did I need to promise?" Joker was the one to answer that question, "Because, can't have First stringers accidentally going the wrong way during acts." Ashi nods still a little befuddled, "Alright, that makes sense, I guess."

"Now, let's go ahead and get you to the showers." Joker smiled and patted his back as Azrail paused, "Showers?" Ashi looked in the next curtain only to blush, "S-Shower?!" Joker laughed as if he was unphased by the naked men, "Of course. Go ahead, Jumbo will help you." Ashi was very obviously not comfortable as he seemed to try and leave, "I-I don't know." Ashi was shoved into the area before he looked surprised, and actually for once out of place, "R-right." Standing alone he looked around before noticing Jumbo, "Fox, over here." He walked over as Jumbo gave a smile, "If you do it quickly then it's not too bad."

"W-wait a second." He was quickly unclothed before water was dumped on him and his tails and ears, "C-cold!" He was quickly cleaned off and he then shivered as someone grabbed his tail. He gave a snarl before he grabbed his clothes and left he was dressed by the time Freckles found him in his barren tent.

A few minutes later:

"Fox!" The male demon shivered, curled up in a thin blanket already transformed into a fox. "Huh?" Freckles walked over seeing the small creature, whose fur was thick and had made a tiny den in the blanket, "Oh... Fox." Freckles picked up Ashi, who was too cold to move, and quickly carried him to Beast, "Beast! Beast!" Beast moved away from the clown she was talking to, "What is it Freckles?"

"It's Fox!" Freckles held up Ashi who seemed limp, "oh no!" Beast picked up the male before quickly wrapping him into a blanket and setting him next to a lantern, "Go get Joker, he's read the books." Freckles looked fully determined as he stood near Ashi, "So have I! Remember? He read them to me." Beast looked as if she was contemplating but gazing at the cold fox she decided to go get Joker, "Fine... look after him while I go fetch him." Freckles gave a nod towards her as she started to leave, "Okay!" Freckles sat down and stayed near the freezing fox, letting the warmth from them stay near the male.
