Jessica kept thinking about all the possible ways this could go. She thought about the way both of them responded showing their true colors, but her thoughts were soon interrupted when someone knocked on the front door. She grabbed her robe sliding it on walking slowly out the bedroom. She didn't want to see anybody right now, her head was still crowded with all those emotions created by Lau and Alec. She was thinking of where Lau went, and when he would be back. It was late and dark outside. She tried walking slowly, hoping that the person at the door would go away, but they just kept knocking. She finally reached the door, taking a deep breathe trying to hide her emotions. She reached out grabbing the knob, turning it revealing who it was. There stood a familiar man, tall, skinny, and handsome. He had a nice black mustache, and a little bit of chin hair. He had tattoos on both arms, but more on his right. "...Larry?" Jessica was highly confused. "What are doing here?" she stepped back from the door looking at him completely. He walked in closing the door behind himself. " I came to see my brother. Where's my brother?" He said very concerned. The fact that Lau was now being thought of made all of her emotions come back. "... I don't know." She said sitting down on the couch, putting her head in her hands. Larry was still standing, even more concerned now. " I was at the club with Mel... then I felt pain on my left side... that's Lau's side. That's why his tattoo is on his left and mine is on the right." Now he sat down on the couch next to her. She picked her head up looking at Larry trying to hold the tears back. "...but besides that, there's something wrong. I can feel his pain.... something is hurting him inside. That's why I came to check on him." She was confused. " He didn't seem hurt when he left. He was ...angry... at me." She started to cry again, replaying the scene in her head. " Why would he be angry with you?" He leaned over putting his arm around her trying to comfort her. He was still half drunk from the club, but he still cared about Jess. She was tired of telling the same story. Explaining and sugar coating it. She just wanted to say it and be done with it. "It's Lau's twin, he's going to have the same reaction" she thought to herself, but she took a deep breathe and said it anyway. "Larry... I told him I was pregnant and that I didn't know if it was his, then he told me he cheated too, and that I was a hoe and he hopes its not his baby." She was crying even harder at this point. Larry was holding her against his chest as he spoke. "Listen Jess... I know my brother. He didn't mean to say what he said. He was hurt because he wants it to be his, and he just cant imagine what he would do if it wasn't" Jess looked up at Larry, seeing the sincerity in his face. As she looked at him all she could see was Lau. She remembered how Lau would sit on this same couch with her in his arms just like this. She missed that Lau, but now he was always out the house doing something, while she was stuck inside alone. " It's not that simple Larry..." she said still looking him in the eyes. "... I called the other guy and told him too. He denied it and hung up on me." She was starting to cry again. "I'm alone Larry... don't you understand. I'm alone and there's no one to help me!" she sat back up, off of his chest feeling her body get hot. "Jess no. Your not alone. Listen... I don't care if I'm the uncle of that baby or not..." He said touching her stomach. "... If no one will help you take care of it... I will." She looked at him while she wiped her cheeks with her hands. She spoke softly feeling her emotions overwhelming her. "Stop lying." she touched her own stomach now looking down at her baby. " Listen Jess... I care about you and I love you. I mean what I said... I promise." As he spoke he leaned in and kissed her soft lips. She was shocked. All the breathe was knocked out of her with that one peck. She looked at him with a confused look. "Larry... I...." Before she could finish her sentence they both turned there heads looking at the door. They both heard the same thing coming from that direction..... keys.
