Not an average fairytale

The Plan

Mel was in her car still crying once she arrived at the hotel. She got up to her room, instantly running up to the bedroom. She threw her jacket and shoes off jumping on the bed. After 5 minutes of just laying there thinking and crying she decided to pray.She prayed for Larry. She prayed for Jessica. She prayed for Lau, but she didn't pray for herself. As she prayed she realized that vengeance is not meant for the being, but for God. So she laid back down staring at the ceiling, deciding that she wouldn't tell Lau. She knew what Larry did was wrong,and that it would all work itself out.

2 days later

Two long stressful days had went by. Two days of Jess crying, and Lau reassuring. It was finally time to know who was the real father of that baby. Laurent woke up extra early. He got up took a shower. He seemed like the only one excited about the news. He got back to the bedroom, with a towel still wrapped around his dripping waist, seeing Jess was sitting on the bed already dressed. Her stomach was starting to become a lump, that Lau would play with every morning. He would rub and kiss it. He would whisper things that only the baby could hear. Jess loved seeing Lau this playful and sweet. She was happy she had him to take care of it. After Lau got dressed he grabbed his phone looking at Jess with an anxious look. "I'm gonna call and invite Larry. I'm sure he would wanna know if he's the uncle or not..." As soon as Lau said that Jess' eyes shot wide open. "Umm... I don't think that's a good idea!!" She said standing up grabbing his hand. "Sure it will baby. Calm down, he doesn't bite." He said as he dialed the number. As Jess walked out the room she spoke under her breath. "...but he does kiss." She went downstairs starting to make enough breakfast for the three of them. The mail man would be there any minute. She was already nervous, and now that Larry was coming, she would probably have a heart attack. Someone knocked on the door and she knew exactly who it was. She really didn't want to open the door, seeing his tempting face. She knew Larry would try and pull something on her. He would raise his eyebrow, or bite his lip, and she didn't want to fall for it. "Lau can you get the door, I'm busy !" She yelled up the stairs. Lau ran down the stairs opening the door for his twin. Larry walked in like it was his house. "Hey bro!! I know your curious, huh?!" Of course Larry walked into the kitchen, sitting at the counter next to Jess. She turned seeing him sitting there and spoke softly. "Hey...Larry." She didn't look up from the pan as she spoke, she just didn't want to go there. Lau shut the door walking into the kitchen himself. "Hell yeah!!" He sat on the stool next to Larry looking at Jess. "...but it really don't matter honestly. It's my baby either way. Right babe?" Jess turned at him smiling. "Of course!" She turned back to the pan still smiling hoping that Larry heard his brothers statement. Larry did hear and it didn't make him happy. "...bullshit." He mumbled under his breath looking away from them. "What you say bro?" Lau was still smiling, not noticing the look on Larry's face. "Nothing... I didn't say anything. I'm gonna go check the mail." He quickly got up feeling the tension, walking out the house checking the mail. Lau got up standing behind Jess as she was making plates. "I don't know what's wrong with him but I'm happy I got you baby." He kissed her neck sitting at the dining room table now. As Jess sat everyone's plates down, Larry walked back in with a huge white envelope. "Haha...look what I got!!" He said waving it in the air sitting down at the table. Lau looked at Jess with a concerned look. "It's up to you baby... do you want to open it now or after we eat?" She put her face in her hands. She was scared but she wanted to get it over with. "Just give it to me!" She reached for the envelope that was still by Larry's seat. He quickly grabbed her hand holding it in his. "What's the magic word?" He looked at her raising his eyebrow. This is what she was trying to avoid. She just wanted the envelope so she spoke harshly. "Please." She gave him a crooked smile as he let her hand go. She took the envelope feeling its rough sides as she ripped the top off. She pulled the paper out going through all the freshly printed words. "So?..." Lau said as she skimmed the page. She finally got to the bottom covering her mouth looking at Lau. "I'm so sorry baby!" She said tears falling down her face. "No. No. No. Don't cry! What did I tell you!" He said holding her to his chest. Larry just sat there awkwardly with his face stuffed with eggs. He rolled his eyes, stealing a piece of bacon off Lau's plate. "Well at least now we know!" Lau said as he ate a piece of sausage. Jess wiped her face looking down at her plate. She lost all her appetite at this point. She opened her mouth to speak to Lau but she stopped once his phone vibrated. "Sorry guys I got to take this." He got up from his seat leaving Jess and Larry alone. Larry looked at her smiling. "...So I guess I'm not the uncle." He said wiping his mouth with a napkin. Jessica was already hurt and he wasn't making it any better. "Listen Larry! That call you gave me the other day... what the fuck was that?! How are you gonna pour your heart out to me and then hang up!!" She tried to keep her voice low but it was still pissed. "...it's a long story." He started to answer but was interrupted. "Larry!!" Lau called from the living room. Larry got up and went to the living room seeing his brother in distress. "What's wrong bro?!" He said looking into his eyes. "Larry... I don't know what to do man..." Lau sat down on the couch tears coming down his face. "Woh woh woh! What happened?!" Larry sat down next to him feeling his brothers pain on his left side, and it was strong. Something was killing him inside. "Larry listen...." he looked up into his brothers eyes. "...the woman I love doesn't have my baby, and the woman I don't love...does!" He put his face in his hands still crying. Larry looked shocked. "Wait what the fuck! You mean Jen?!" Lau looked up at Larry nodding his head. Larry looked at his brother in pain. "Oh...shit..." he put his hand over his mouth. "Well what are you gonna do bro?!" Larry said standing back up holding his left side. "...I don't know...just finish breakfast with Jessica okay....and do not tell her!!" Lau got up from the couch grabbing his keys and phone, walking out the door still hurt. Larry looked up at the ceiling clasping his hands together. "Thank you!" As he walked back into the kitchen he rubbed his mustache trying to hide his huge smirk. This might have been bad news for Lau but it was good news for him. He had a plan.
