One life, one moment [JOSH DUN X READER]

*MONDAY/THE DAY AFTER*

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. 

I looked down my body, just to see that i fell asleep in my outfit from yesterday. I then looked around my room and then down at my pillow.

It was stained with makeup and.. tears?

Then i remembered everything.. Josh and most importantly, Joshs girlfriend. Did i seriously cry because of Josh?!

After my shower and the rest of my morning routine, i walked out of my apartment and locked it.

I walked into my workplace and saw that my best friend was in today.

"Hey Max!" I smiled at him.

He just stared at me?

"Max..?" I asked and he walked out from the counter and hugged me.

"Max, what in the world are you doing?" I asked.

"Shhh, you just looked like you needed a hug Y/N." Max said.

Max knows me well enough to see through a fake smile. And i kinda hate that about him, but he knows when to comfort me.

I was about to hug him back, but then he suddenly pulled away.

"Y/N, we have to get to work." Max said.

"Oh yeah.." I sighed.

After about 4 hours of cleaning and serving coffee to customers, I was taking my break in the back room. 

I was scrolling through Facebook until Max came into the room.

"Y/N, I need you out front" Max said and pointed at the door.

"Max, I'm on my break?" I said.

"But someone is asking for you, Y/N." Max said.

Hoping it wasn't the guys that asked for me, just to look at my chest and/or my butt, I got up from my seat and walked out the back room.

And there stood Jenna, Sara, some more people and.. Tyler?

The brunette boy in the back, behind Jenna, was a spitting image of Tyler, but I shrugged it off.

"Hey guys, you asked for me?" I smiled at Sara and Jenna.

"I came to give back your shirt and then hang out here with some friends and gestured to the group behind her and locked eyes with the guy that looked like Tyler and he frowned his eyebrows but didn't say anything..

I grabbed the clothes and put them behind the counter.

"Thanks for returning my shirt and then I hope you enjoy your time here." I smiled and saw a guy behind Jenna nudge her with his shoulder.

"Ow Ben! Oh yeah right.. Y/N, this is Ben, Sam, Brendon and my husband Tyler." Jenna said.

"And this is Y/N, everyone! She works here and offered me her shirt after spilling coffee on me." Jenna giggled.

"Sorry about that" I said and looked down.

"It's ok, Y/N." She laughed and she was about to say something until she was interrupted by Brendon.

"Look who finally showed up!" Brendon said and looked at the door.

I looked over aswell and regretted it. I looked at Max and he looked at me confused.

"Get me out of here" I mouthed to Max who quickly understood.

"So sorry that we were late, you guys." Oh that voice.. I kept my eyes on Max and he throw a towel at me so I could get out of the situation and clean tables instead.

"Oh my god, I missed you girls!" I looked to the door for a few seconds and saw her. Debby. She was so much prettier in real life.

I walked behind the counter and started cleaning, hoping they would ignore me and just forget I was there.

"Y/N?" I froze. Oh no. I looked up and saw him looking at me.

"Hey Josh.." I said.

"Wait! You guys know each other?" Jenna said happily.

"Of course I know Y/N" Josh smiled.

"I knew you looked familiar, but refused to believe it." Tyler said.

"Wait, I don't understand? How do you guys know her?" Debby asked, looking me up and down.

"We went to the same school as kids." I said and looked back down at the table.

"We're the best of friends!" Josh smiled.

"Yeah.. well.. were best friends, I guess." I said, correcting him.

"Awkwaaard" Sara said.

After a moment of awkward silence, Debby spoke up.

"So you knew Tyler and Josh before they were famous, I suppose?" Debby said.

"Yeah, I guess.." I said and coughed awkwardly.

"Well, what can I get you guys?" Max chimed in.

I took the chance to go back into the back room.

After about 5 minutes, I heard the door open behind me.

"Wow Max, that was fa-"

"Y/N, can we talk" I looked over my shoulder and saw Tyler.

I sighed and stood up to walk to him, since he was not allowed in the back room since he didn't work here.

We walked to the other side of the shop from where the others were.

"Believe me or not Y/N, but Josh and I missed you so flipping much.." Tyler said.

We looked over at Josh and saw him kissing Debby and saying something to her before smiling from ear to ear. I looked down, sighed and tried to hold back tears.

"You still like Josh."
