"Are the bags all loaded?" Jin asked Jimin, who nodded in response.

"What about the snacks? You know Jungkook eats like a starved elephant."

"Hey!" Jungkook protested as he came out of the apartment eating a sandwich. "I do not!" he said around a bite of his food.

Jin rolled his eyes while Jimin laughed. "Sure."

"Then I guess we're ready to roll! Everyone load up!"

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"How about now?"

"...no."

"...Are we--"

"Jungkook! We still have another three hours before we reach Seoul! Please stop asking me. Play on your phone or something," Jin scolded.

"Ne, hyung." Jungkook looked defeated.

Eomma Jin was in the front driving, a pile of snacks in the passenger seat next to him. He occasionally reached over and grabbed a chip or cookie, much to Jungkook's chagrin. He whimpered from the backseat whenever he heard a bag crinkle.

Jimin saw how stressed Jin has been for the past few days. His eyes were starting to droop. His behavior was different. Even scolding Jungkook, he looked tired.

Jimin spoke up. "H-hey, Kookie. Let Jin focus on driving." He scooted over to make room between them. "Here, let's play Uno!"

Jungkook looked at him with an odd expression.

"What?" Jimin questioned.

"Can you even play Uno with two people?"

"Sure you can? Just change the rules a slight bit."

Jungkook remained skeptical but played along with his hyung anyways.

---one hour later---

"Oh come on, Jimin~ah! I totally won that!" Jungkook complained when Jimin laid down his final card right before Jungkook did.

Jimin shrugged. "Too bad, little bro."

Jungkook grumbled, "I don't want to play anymore. Eomma Jin, Jiminie-hyung is too mean." His pouting did nothing to affect Jin, who was driving steadily on the road.

The youngest finally gave up trying to occupy himself. He plugged in his earbuds and blasted his idol, V's music as he drifted off to sleep for the last two hours of the trip.

Meanwhile, Jimin got on his phone and began to search for information about the concert they were headed to.

The theme of the concert seemed to be "abduction." What a weird theme. He scrolled the webpage until he came to a picture of the star himself. Jimin gasped. The boy had the same box-shaped smile as the one in his dreams and visions. "Is that him?" he whispered incredulously.

Jin heard the boy in the back, "Jiminie? Wae irae?"

Jimin barely heard him. He was so focused on the picture in front of him.

"Jimin~ah!"

He was snapped out of his reverie by the voice pulling him back to reality.

"Ah...ahem! Huh?"

"I asked what was wrong, Chim Chim." Jin rarely called Jimin by his nickname. He was really worried.

"Oh! Uh, n-nothing." Jimin lied. "A-actually hyung, do you know what age V is?"

"Yep! He's 22, just like you," Jin answered.

Jimin wondered to himself, "Could this actually be the boy?"

He fanned himself and pinched his forearm. "Snap back to reality, pabo. You don't even know him. Besides, he's famous."

"Gwenchana? Jjinja?" Jin questioned.

Jimin nodded and Jin had no choice but to believe him. He responded to the smaller boy, "Arasseo. Just let me know if you need anything."

Jimin gulped, locking his phone and having a bad feeling about the trip from that moment forward.

All three boys stretched out after Jin parked the car at the hotel. Jin was lucky enough to get a hotel less than two blocks away from the concert venue. Once they unpacked and settled in, it was only about three in the afternoon.

"Hyungs, can we see if there's anywhere to eat around here? I want real food, not snacks," Jungkook said.

"I'm up for it," agreed Jimin. Jin nodded.

They all walked out of the hotel and began roaming the streets in search for a place to eat.

They found this quaint little restaurant amid all of the tall buildings in the city of Seoul. They decided to eat there.

Once finished, Jimin suggested that they walk around since it was only around 5 and he wanted to do some shopping. The others agreed and they visited just about every department store within eyesight.

It wasn't long before Jin got tired and suggested they relax for a little before heading back to the hotel. Jimin spotted a cute cafe across the street from the last store they were in and dragged the boys inside. He looked around, marvelled at the adorable designs inside. "Ah, kyoooo! Everything is so cute, hyung!" he latched onto Jin's arm.

He ran up to the order counter and ordered his drink, a white mocha. For Jungkook he ordered a matcha latte and for Jin he ordered a vanilla iced latte.

Jin found a table for them in the back of the quiet cafe, where they had a view everything but could still keep to themselves. Jimin's name was soon called and it wasn't long before the three boys were enjoying their drinks.

The place was relatively empty, so when Jimin heard the bell above the door ring, he looked up immediately. Jungkook and Jin were talking about Jin's broad shoulders and Jungkook's lovely habit of annoying his hyungs. Jimin couldn't focus his attention on them. All of his attention had been diverted to the person who just walked in. A tall, light brown haired boy walked inside and went up to the counter, ordering. A few more people walked in behind him, so when he ordered, he stood off to the side to let them through. The man glanced around the cafe before landing his eyes on Jimin. Jimin recognized that man. He was so familiar.

He had no clue where he'd seen him before, though. Jimin realized he was staring and quickly averted his eyes. He heard a bit of Jungkook calling him short and his attention was back on the two idiots he called friends.

"I'm not short!" Jimin pouted.

"Sure you are, Minnie!" Jungkook poked fun at the elder boy. "Mini!" he said before breaking into a laughing fit.

Jimin rolled his eyes and looked up again to see the man being handed his order. He grabbed the 4 drinks, and soon disappeared. Jimin sighed, wondering where he'd seen that face before.

He couldn't quite recall and figured it wasn't good to dwell on it.

The boys headed back to the hotel once they finished their drinks. Jimin went straight to bed and left his best friends to their own devices. First, that boxy smile and that hair. Next, the familiar face in the cafe.

What's next, seeing his dead father and brother?
