"No way!" Jungkook yelled through the phone. Jimin had given the cell to him and left so they could talk in private.
"Yes way!" Taehyung laughed from the other end. "I can't wait for it. In the meantime, do you have your phone on you?" Jungkook replied yes and Taehyung asked him to get it. "Here. I want you to have my number again so we won't have to rely on Jimin for communication." The older boy rattled off the numbers while the younger dialed them into his phone.
Jungkook had decided to be selfish though and finish the conversation on Jimin's phone.
"So did Jimin tell you about my--"
"So I heard that you had a--"
Both boys laughed as they spoke at the same time. "Continue," said Jungkook.
"Jimin told me you had a Me shrine."
Jungkook shuffled on the other end. "M-maybe. It's not creepy or anything!" he blurted quickly.
"I don't think it's creepy," Taehyung smiled. "I think it's cute. When I get back to Korea, I promise I'll buy you every item of my merch."
"J-jjinja?!" Jungkook whisper-shouted.
"Yes, really. I can't wait to see you again," he added. Heat washed over his face and he realized he was blushing. Jungkook was quiet for a few moments until yelling came through the line.
"Where's Jimin?!" Tae could recognize Jin's voice.
"I dunno!"
"He's not here!"
"He's a grown ass man!"
"Watch your language!" Jin yelled before a thump followed.
"Why'd you hit me?" Jungkook whined.
"Who are you on the phone with? Hang up! We need to go find Jimin!"
"I'm sure he's okay, Eomma--" another thud. "Hyung!"
"If he's not home in an hour, I'm calling the police."
"Arasseo, just stop hitting me." A door slammed shut and Jungkook let out a rushed sigh. "I'm sorry about him. I'm sure Jimin's fine."
Was he fine? Taehyung didn't know. He wanted to rush over there and check for himself, but he couldn't.
"I want to come back to Korea and hang out with you all again. I definitely want to introduce you guys to my friends," Tae sighed. Jungkook's heart went out to the poor boy. V was his idol, but Taehyung was his friend.
"I hope you'll be okay for the last few months of the tour." Taehyung's heart clenched. He had already begun developing feelings for the younger boy, no matter how forbidden it was.
"Thanks, sweetheart." He boldly took a step and completely flirted with Jungkook, wondering if he would notice.
Jungkook definitely noticed. Taehyung couldn't see it, but Jungkook was blushing madly, scratching his neck and trying not to laugh nervously.
Taehyung and Jungkook chatted for a while before the idol began to get tired. He soon told his brother's best friend that he had to go. Jungkook procrastinated in hanging up for as long as he could, though. After they finally managed to pry themselves away from the technology, Taehyung plopped down in the nearest chair and sighed.
He missed them all a lot more than he thought he would. He didn't know Jin too well, but he was willing to get closer to him. He wanted to make up the time he lost with Jimin, and make new memories with all three of them, especially Jungkook. He thought about how much he had really grown to like the kid.
