RECAP:
I turned around in my place and grabbed a hold of his hand and dragged him downstairs. “Kidnapping me already Jessa-bear?” he seductively proclaimed.
“You wish. I’m taking you shopping!” I smiled wickedly.
We reached the last step when Brad froze in his place. “Excuse me?”
I turned to face him with a mischievous smile. “I haven’t mentioned it? My cousin Lilly is coming to town with her fiancé Ronald. They’re having their wedding here, and you, Bradley Salas, are going to be my date.”

“Why don’t you try this on?” I suggested as I pulled up a black suit and placed it on top of Bradley’s frame. “Hmm, nah this is just too dark, how about something lighter?” I hinted out at the same time I searched through the rack of different suits.
“You’re not being serious, are you?” Bradley chuckled.
“Here, go try this one.” I instructed, giving him a cream colored suit with a light blue button-down collared shirt.
He held the pieces of clothing and studied it, only glancing at me a second later. “You’re making me wear this?” He sarcastically asked.
I grinned widely and pushed him away. “Bradley, will you just be a good boy and put it on.” I laughed.
He smiled at me and willingly left to the changing room. I sat down on a nearby chair, waiting for him to appear. This was nice, the quietness was nice. I now have time for myself. I began thinking, my thoughts shifting from Brad to Damon, back and forth. What did Damon really want? He’s sweet and all, but why me? I’m practically invisible to most. If it wasn’t for Brad’s popularity, no one in school would know I existed, except for Jared, Eric, and Skye of course. Bradley, him and his arrogance, rudeness, and disrespectfulness, I could go on all day, but he’s my best friend. He’s been with me and there for me through thick and thin. He treated me in a way, a special way, no one ever did. He knows me like no one else, basically like the back of his hand. He understood me. He cared. So did Damon, I began thinking hard. What if Damon was indeed interested in me? Did he like me?
“Ehm” said a voice that broke my train of thought.
I blinked warily and looked up from where I was sitting to see Bradley, handsome and dashing as ever, posing in front of me. “So? What do you think?”
It was just the right one. The cream color enlightened his golden locks even more, making it brighter than usual. The light blue shirt he wore made his eyes glitter in an oceanic color. After all these years, I still have no idea what color are Brad’s eyes. I guess it depended on what he wore, or where he was. Usually it was a greenish color, then it kind of changes to a bluish color. It was beautiful to stare at.
I stood up and stepped in front of him, examining him in a closer way. I held his hand and brought it closer to my face, looking a bit playful. “You look perfect Brad.” I assured him while I squeezed his hands in mine.
He turned around and faced the mirror, looking at himself for the first time. “Hmm, not bad, we’ll take it.” He told a clerk next to us.
We left the store just a couple of minutes later, Brad’s purchased suit in our hands. “So, Jessa-bear, what now? Any plans?”
