The sunlight tickled my eye lids as soon as it was strong enough to make its way through my curtains and invade my room. I fluttered them open and turned to my side to check the time. I reached for my mini clock on my bed side table and eyed it carefully. Nine in the morning, too lazy to get up, I pulled my bed sheet over my head and closed my eyes in hope of falling back to sleep.
Just a few minutes passed when I began feeling very comfortable. Every inch of my body welcomed the cloudy feeling of losing myself to slumber in peace. I was almost there, almost gone.
“Jessabel!” someone yelling my name shook my bed. I slowly shifted from under my pillow. I was half asleep and half awake, so I couldn’t really recognize the owner of the familiar voice.
“Jessabel, wake up already!” the same voice nagged in a more stern and impatient way.
I lazily stayed there in bed not moving a single muscle. I was deciding between getting up and just staying still.
The bed under me suddenly began shaking like crazy. After the bed shook, I was being shaken too.
“What?!” I cried out loud in immense irritation, still not sure who the intruder was.
“Come on you lazy head, I need to show you something. Get up and get dressed. Breakfast is on me.” Skye ordered before skipping to my door. “Five minutes!”
I groaned as I rolled out of bed. “But it’s nine in the morning.” I whined to myself before entering my bathroom.
After brushing my teeth, changing my clothes, and tidying up my room, I marched downstairs to where Skye was waiting. She was at the bottom of the stairs right next to the door. As soon as she caught a glimpse of me she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the door.
“Hurry up, slow poke.” She said as she opened the door.
“Mom, dad I’m leaving.” I managed to yell out before following my ‘morning-bothering’ friend.

Her bigger brother Scott was the one who dropped us at the mall. First thing we did was head up to the food court to get some breakfast. Mine was pancakes and a cup of orange juice and Skye’s was eggs and bacon along with a bottle of water.
I must’ve taken two bites from my pancake before asking Skye what the surprise was.
“So what is it that you want to show me?” I asked her as I took a sip from my orange juice.
She pulled out two tickets with ‘Pitbull’ written on it with bold letters. “These.”
I stared at them with shocked eyes and a dropped jaw. “You were actually able to get them?”
“Here is yours.” She handed out a ticket to me. “You can thank me later.”
“I don’t know what to say! This is just a dream come true!” I exclaimed almost to tears.
It was a dream too good to be true. The tickets that we held just seconds ago were suddenly snatched out of our hands.
“OMG! Tasha, they have tickets!” Emilia screeched.
Natasha quickly grabbed the tickets into her greedy hands. “You’ve got to be kidding me!”
“Why do you guys just pop out everywhere?” I announced angrily. “Give it back!” I then loudly ordered as I dove for them, but she was too quick for me. She raised her hands high up in the air before my hands clenched them.
“But we want to go with you, Bell.” Emily protested.
“Like anyone wants to go with you.” Skye snorted out making Emily gasp.
