Ellie and I Part 14

"Ellie, what did Jessica tell you?" I ask.

Ellie looks at the ground then back up to me.

"But what if she finds out I told you" Ellie says looking at me.

"It doesn't matter, I need to know" I say seriously.

Ellie sits back down and I sit down next to her.

"Well, Jessica told me that if I continue to be your girlfriend, she'll leak a photo of us kissing at the park... I have no idea how she got the damn photo but I didn't want you to get hurt" Ellie says.

I finally get it.

"She then told me that she saw you and Justin on a date and said that you were with him even before you broke up with me"

My heart aches by those words.

"She even showed me a photo, I didn't believe it at first but when I saw him hug you at school, I believed her" Ellie says.

"Ellie..." I say.

"But then all of a sudden she began to treat me as if I were her girlfriend again, I didn't want to confront her because I was afraid that she would leak the photo,

And when she kissed me in the locker room, I didn't stop her at first because I was afraid of the consequence" Ellie says looking back at the ground.

I wasn't the only one suffering,

this whole time, Ellie was going through as much as pain, actually

even more pain than I ever was.

"I get it now, I'm so sorry, for everything I accused you of, if I knew it was because of her I wouldn't have been so harsh" I say.

"Its fine Shay, so what did she tell you?" Ellie asks as she looks up at me.

I look at the ground.

"Remember when we were almost caught kissing by your mom in front of the school?" I ask.

Ellie nods with a cute smile.

My heart skips a beat.

"Well, Jessica happened to be behind us when we did and took a picture. After you left she told me that she would spread the picture of us kissing there and at the park around the whole school, the only way I was able to stop her was by following her rules, the rules were to break up with you, find a new boyfriend and to not talk to you" I say.

"So Justin is your new boyfriend now?" Ellie asks.

"I broke up with him before he got too determined in our relationship. I explained the whole situation with Jessica and he understood, we even told Sarah" I say.

"So thats why they were trying to separate Jessica and I?" She asks.

"Yeah" I reply.

"No wonder she told us not to talk to each other, she made it so we would never find out why we stopped talking to each other" Ellie says.

"You're right, she brain washed us" I say.

We sit in silence,

Consuming all the information we gathered.

"What do we do now?" Ellie asks.

"I don't know" I say.

"But now, we both know, and she cant stop us from knowing right?" Ellie asks with a smile.

"Yeah, I guess so" I say returning a smile.

Ellie leans in closer to me,

Our lips meet.

My body tingles in shock.

Its been forever since Ive felt her lips.

We kiss for a few seconds or so.

Ellie finally moves back.

"Sorry, I just missed your lips" Ellie whispers.

My heart flutters from her saying that.

"No, its totally fine, I missed yours too" I say with a blush.

"So, I should get going now... Its late" Ellie says breaking the silence.

"Oh yeah, Ill walk you" I say with a smile as I get up.

We both walk outside and continue to walk to Ellie's house.

"So your dad is asleep now?" I ask.

"Yeah hopefully, or he's not as drunk which means he's less aggressive" Ellie says.

Oh,

"You sure you don't want to sleep at my place?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" Ellie asks with a smirk.

I process what she just says.

"Not like that you ass" I say with a laugh giving her a little punch on the shoulder.

Ellie laughs.

"But thanks anyways, I wouldn't want your family to get the wrong idea of us" Ellie says.

Oh yeah, I never told her that I confessed.

"Oh yeah, about that, I confessed to my sister and my parents" I say.

Ellie stops for a second,

"What no way! Congrats" Ellie says in shock but then continues walking.

"Thanks" I say with a smile.

"Do they, know about me?" Ellie asks.

"Huh? oh, um I kind of mentioned you" I say.

"Oh I see, well I still need to tell my dad" Ellie says.

"You told your mom but not your dad?why?" I ask.

Ellie lets out a breath.

"Well, my dads a full on Christian and doesn't really accept Gays, I don't know how he would react" Ellie says.

"Oh, but your mom accepts you?" Ellie asks.

"Yeah, she may be a Christian as well but at least she understands" Ellie says.

After a couple of steps,

"So what are we going to do about Jessica?" Ellie says.

What are we going to do?

"For now, keep going along with her, make her believe that we haven't talked to each other. We'll set up a plan soon with Justin and Sarah to get those pictures" I say.

"Alright" Ellie says.

We finally reach Ellie's house and all the lights are out.

"I guess my dad did go to sleep" Ellie says.

"Good, I don't want you getting hurt" I say.

Ellie lets out a cute smile,

"Don't worry about me, get home safe" Ellie says giving me a hug.

I hold her.

After a couple of seconds we let go.

"See you tomorrow" Ellie says with a smile.

"Bye" I reply.

Ellie opens her house door, walks in, then closes it.

I smile.

In the corner of my eye, I see a shape.

On the second floor of Ellie's house.

Through the window there is a figure of person.

It's dark, but I can make out the shape of a man.

Ellie's dad was watching me.
