5 - Stay With Me

I woke up to the sound of a bell. I was alone in a dark room. I searched for the light and turned it on and it felt like I was hit by solar flare or in other words a flash grenade. Once I got used to the light I looked around for the woman that was lying in my arms. She was gone.

" I feel empty... " ,

I left out of the closet getting prepared to go to whatever class period it was. When I made it out I saw everybody heading in one direction, there must be a fight or something. I used my hearing to see what was going on and all I heard were people saying 'I'll see you tomorrow' and stuff like that.

Oh my Goddess is school over with!!! How long was I asleep for ? I just skipped all my classes on the first day of school. I hope father doesn't find out.

I search for the addicting sent that lead me to the supply closet and I could only smell faint traces of it that means she left a long time ago. Hmm... I wonder why.

As I make it out of the school I smell my second favorite sent, so of course, I go find where the source was. Finally, I found her out in the parking lot. Looking around, trying to find her car.

I snuck behind her and gently wrapped my arms around her waste. I could feel her tense up but then relax realizing who it was. She leaned back onto me and put her hands on my hands which were on her stomach. She makes me so happy. I'm glad I have her in my life she makes me a better me.

" How's my beautiful girlfriend? " , I asked in her ear then started kissing up and down her neck. I felt her breath hitch and it made my confidence go even higher, which I didn't know was possible.

" I'm good, but I would've been better if I got to actually spend time with you today. But nooo, you had to go and skip." she sad in an innocent voice but I can feel her anger. How did she know? Oh crap, I've never seen her mad before. So this is her kind of mad, she's the 'calm mad' , that's the worst one, you never know what's gonna happen or how they're gonna react. She removed my arms from around her and turned around to look at me. I guess she wants to see the look on my face, while she kills me.

" Oh, uh, Gwen you see I was umm ", what am I supposed to tell her? 'Sorry babe I was in a dark room with a random stranger, comforting them then fell asleep' wait that's perfect.

"Gwen let me explain okay?" she crossed her arms and gave me that 'It better be good look'.

"Okay, I was out in the hall. As I was about to open my locker for the trillionth time, I heard a girl crying. So of course, me being the amazing, caring person I am, I went in search for the damsel in distress. When I found her we started talking.

Long story short, I fell asleep. When I woke up it was the end of school and she was gone.

"Okay." she said her usual voice

"Okay?" I asked suspiciously

"Yes, Okay." she said reassuringly

"Okay, as in, 'I believe you and you're still my girlfriend, okay' or Okay, as in 'I will kill you later then break up with you and spit on your grave, okay'?" I asked, frightened by her calmness.

" The first one, you can still call me 'yours', " she said with a small giggle. It made me happy knowing she was mine, and I was hers.

I picked her up bridal style, and kissed all over her face making sure not to kiss her lips. She smiled at me and wrapped her arms around my neck and put her forehead against mine.

"Thank you" I said closing my eyes. " For what? ", She asked confused " For being with me even after knowing how easily, I could mess this up and hurt you in the end. Thank you, for trusting me. I'm so happy to have you in my life you're one of the best things that's ever happened to me. You make the darkness go away, and for that, I thank you." I said with a small smile in complete honesty.
