At dinner, the camp was rioting. The Ares cabin believed that Nico had sabotaged their chariot, The Athena cabin believed he had placed spiders in their cabin, the Apollo cabin believed he had stolen medical supplies, the Demeter cabin believed he was wilting their strawberries, the list goes on and on. (Aka, I'm too lazy to think of all the gods right now)
When Nico walked into the dining pavilion, there was outrage. The Hermes cabin had set up traps at the Hades table, so when Nico sat down he was snapped up in a net. Bright lights were turned on to eliminate the shadows so that he couldn't shadow travel away. The Ares cabin threw food at him, and both camps followed their example, except for the select few that were trying to help Nico. Suddenly, there was a large "BOOM" and everybody turned around to see dozens of skeletons erupt out of the ground. "HE'S TRYING TO KILL US!" Screamed a Hephaestus camper. Meanwhile, Leo and Frank were trying to get him out of the net. Frank has turned into a rhino, and Leo was working on just plain cutting Nico out of the net. The rest of the seven stood in shock wondering what was happening. Someone began to throw weapons at Nico, when one of the weapons hit a spotlight and it crashed down. Nico saw his opportunity to shadow travel, and he did.
The dining pavilion was silent. There were a few smiles on the faces of campers, but most people were frowning, thinking "What have we done?" They had driven Nico out of camp, just when he was beginning to feel welcome again.
