"MADELYN!" Adam yelled. He was pressed against the bars. Hoping she would hear him. His hands clutched the bars tightly as he yelled her name over and over again. "Madelyn! Come on please! Just.....Just here me out!"
"She won't come." He heard a voice say.
He looked around among the other cells. The one across from him he saw a girl who looked around his age. She had jet black hair that fell at her shoulders, olive skin with freckles all over her face and shoulders, her eyes were were a sliver grey with flecks of white and purple, though he couldn't see her outfit very well he could definitely tell she was wearing a white top and either a skirt or pants that were red, and she had a scar going across her face.
"Who said that?" Adam asked.
"Names Zada. So how'd you get in here?" She asked throwing a rock at the stone wall.
"Uhm....I broke her heart." Adam said cautious.
She let out a loud cackle. "What kind of idiot are you to date The Queen?" She stood up and pressed against the bars. "How did you break her heart?" She asked while tilting her head to the left.
"I well....I kinda left her....when she was pregnant..." Adam said putting his head down.
Zada fell to the ground laughing. "Did you want a death wish?" She couldn't stop laughing.
Adam had an annoyed expression across his face. "Thank you so much for finding humor in my past mistakes." Adam replied sarcastically.
After a long silence Zada decided to break it. "So you have a kid?" She said with a hint of jealousy.
"Yeah but....I don't know who it is...I have an idea of who it- She is." Adam said breathlessly.
"Wait hold on...you...don't know who you're kid is....what? How old is she?" Zada said with a look of disgust on her face.
"16...17 years old." Adam said taking a guess.
"Name?" Zada said getting up.
"I have an idea of who she is. I think it's Alice.....you've heard of her right?" He said.
"Duh...I live in Wonderland."
"So how did you get in here anyway?" Asked Adam.
"Lets just say your Madelyn is scared of me." Zada said while looking to the side.
They sat in a long silence as they waited for something to happen. Adam couldn't help but think about the life he could have had with Hatter. To watch their daughter grow up. Yet he could never have that type of life.
As he was about to drift to sleep he heard some footsteps coming towards his cell.
"Hello?" A voice called out.
