Hatter yawned out of boredom. She was listening to the news, again. It was the same old same old. She wasn't paying much attention until Rabbit hopped through the large doors that rested at the front of the throne room.

"Y-your majesty." The Rabbit bowed.

"What is it?" The queen said almost bored.

"I-it's Alice. S-she's here in W-Wonderland, a-and s-she's with some....someone." Rabbit stuttered.

Hatter stood from her throne immediately. She walked through the large stone doors revealing Alice. Hatter ran towards her and threw her arms around her. Alice returned the hug and cried into her shoulder. Alice had missed Hatter far too much, she wanted nothing more than to have tea parties or play hide and seek with Cheshire. Hatter thought she never see her sweet little Alice again.

Hatter pulled back to look at her. She definitely hit a grow spurt, last time she saw her Alice could barley reach her chest; Now she reached just below her shoulder. Alice would always be short, but she didn't mind. Alice also looked more mature than last time. Her hair was pulled back in a loose ponytail, and she got a little more curvy. She still was a little plump around the stomach and she still had a round face much like a child's.

Alice grew more like her father each passing day. She has his golden blonde hair and his blue eyes, and of course she had a small amount of freckles that littered her face. Still Hatter thought she looked beautiful and will always believe that.

"I've missed you so much, Hatter! But i'm afraid we must leave the welcome for now. You see there is someone looking for you and....and well he says it's important." Alice said pulling Hatter along.

They reached the palace entrance. Alice pushed the tall doors apart. Hatter flinched slightly as the sun light hit her.

The sight she saw could only be explained through eyes of love. He had golden blonde hair that reached just below his ear lobe, Dark blue eyes, well built, the sun hit him so perfectly that he was like a prince, a dimpled smile, and a small amount of freckles. He was indeed handsome to Hatter.

She walked towards him, disbelief read her face. She hasn't seen him in years. She brought her hand to touch his face. Tears threatened to pour from her face. She brought her other hand to her mouth. He smiled to himself. He leaned in to kiss her when she slapped him. Hard.

"WHITE KNIGHT!" She screeched.

Confusion spread across his face. Charlie, The White Knight, came immediately. He stood stiffly and bowed.

"How can I be of assistants, your Majesty?" He spoke.

"Arrest this man." She pointed to  Adam with cold eyes.

"Yes my Queen." He gave a quick bow before grabbing Adam's arms and putting them behind his back.

"Wait, Madelyn! You can't be serious!" Adam called out before he was dragged away.

Hatter was fuming. She turned to Alice. Hatter was beyond mad, beyond furious. Her face was red with anger and her fist were clenched tight. How dare she! Alice brought this, this traitor with her! Hatter laughed like a mad women. She was laughing so hard her sides hurt.

All of a sudden she stopped laughing, a scowl was twisted on to her face. She took a hand and grabbed Alice's face roughly. Alice's eyes held fear. She had never seen this side of Hatter before. Hatter was seething.

"Go." Hatter spat. "And never come back." Hatter let go of her face and turned to leave.

"B-but Hatter! Why did you arrest Adam? He did nothing wrong!" Alice said tugging on Hatter's arm.

"Nothing wrong?" Hatter laughed and continued to walk away.

"Why won't you listen to him? He said he had something important he needs to tell you!" Alice begged. In the short time Adam and her had been together she had grown rather fond of him.

"That's so funny! It's funny because I also had to tell him something important when he abandoned me."

"He....He must of had a good reason! Maybe he had no choice!"

"Poor sweet naive little Alice." Hatter took her face in her hands. "Have you ever thought to wonder why you're an orphan."

Hatter stormed away leaving Alice in hurt. Tears poured down Alice's face. She ran into the woods, hoping that this was just a horrible nightmare, that this will all go away. Was he her father? Why did he leave? Questions flooded her mind as she ran. She finally reached a spot in the woods that wasn't crazy. It had normal water, grass, and trees. She sat by a fallen tree and sobbed into her dress. Tears just wouldn't stop coming. She took a deep breath and stopped crying.

The White Knight walked into view. He wasn't stiff anymore and he was smiling. For a moment Alice forgot what happened with Hatter and ran to hug him. Ever since she met him she fell instantly in love with him. Charlie returned her feelings.

"I thought I might find you here." He said placing a kiss to her forehead.

"Why did she snap like that? She usually is kind and caring." Alice said while staring in his eyes.

He couldn't stop an abrupt laugh from coming out. Alice looked at him confusingly. "Look, Alice, sweetheart Hatter is.....She isn't the nice person she had you believe. She slaves her citizens and holds trials if they break a law. She says she saved us from The Queen of Hearts' wrath but, I think we were better off with her." He said rubbing her arms in attempt to comfort her.

"No. No! This can't be true. Hatter would never....She couldn't. She loves her kingdom!" Alice babbled in attempt to make sense of this.

"Alice, she loves her power, nothing more." He said wrapping her into a tight embrace.

This couldn't be true. Hatter can't be a tyrant....could she? It just didn't make sense.
