PURSUE {Park Jihoon & Kang Daniel}

I'm supposed to meet Jihoon at 10am and Daniel at 5pm in the park.

I dug through my closet and looked for some nice clothes, I don't want to look simple today for some reason.
I chose a short-sleeved black-striped shirt and a pair of black shorts. I also curled my hair since I thought it looked too flat.

"Mom I'm going~"
I yelled from the hallway hoping she'd hear me and then waited for a quick acceptence.

I saw her peek out from the kitchen and look at me. "Where are you going?"

I didn't really want her to know that I was heading to meet with Jihoon because I've only ever hung out with Daniel and she knows it so she'd ask many questions if she found out and I don't feel like answering them right now.
"I'm going to shop with Rayeon."

She blinked a few times but then let me go. "Okey, don't come home too late."
I grabbed my phone and wallet and put them in my pocket. "Of course, bye." I closed the door behind me.

I saw someone familiar stand with his back leaning against a pillar outside the arcade.
"Jihoon!" I waved so he would notice me.
He turned his head and looked at me with a smile on his face. I rushed up to him and he gave me a hug which was a little surprising but not in a bad way.

After a few seconds I broke the hug and chuckled. "So what did you plan for us today?"
He smirked at my question and then grabbed me and turned me around.

What was now in front of me was the big entrance to the big arcade-game center.
"Omg yess!" I raised my hand for a highfive but he ignored it and instead layed his arm around my shoulders and led me inside.

"Woah it's huge~" I looked around as we stepped in and there were so many different games everywhere such as to throw a basketball, race and the "dance on arrows" thingie.

Jihoon went and got us some coins while I searched around for something intresting to play. I'd never been in this kind of place before so I felt very excited.

I layed my eyes on a known machine and it's prices. "I want to try that one"
My hand reached itself towards the tiny golden plates in his hand and when I got hold of one I rushed towards the "stuffed cute things in the big box."

I inserted the coin and then pushed the buttons that made the claw move. Slowly slowly I moved it to the corner and then smacked the big red button in the middle.
But no luck, this is impossible..

"Which one do you want?"
Jihoon sneaked up beside me and searched for the plushie I tried to get. "Is it that one? The mario star?" He asked and pointed. I nodded while staring at him with puppy eyes.
"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I sighed and returned to look at the cute little star in disappointment.

While watching the plushie with my face pressed agains the glass I saw how the claw moved towards it again, but not with me in control of it.
I looked to my side and Jihoon was now trying to get it. "You said you're not good at this so don't waste your money." I said and poked his cheek.

He quickly replied with a simple "Ok"
and I gave him a look saying that I meant it but he was so focused that he didn't notice.

"Got it!"
My attention returned to the claw and it was indeed holding onto the star. "Don't drop it!" I said in excitement.
*Khadunk* It dropped down and he picked it up and looked at it. "I was better at this then I thought." He smirked at me and waited for my impressed reaction but I only wanted to get a hold of the adorable plushie as soon as possible. "Yeah sure, well done."

His smirk disappeared and he hugged the star and turned away from me. "This is kinda cute, I think I'll keep it."

"What?!" I pouted and weakly punched him in the arm. It was obvious that he teased me right now, and of course he enjoyed it.

But after not to long he smiled and gave it to me.
"Here, it fits you. It's almost as cute."
He then walked past me and towards another game. I was lucky he did because right now I could feel myself blushing up to my ears.
But I took a deep breath, clapped my cheeks and then followed after him.

"You're good at everything" I whined while failing to score a single shot in the basketball loop.
He grinned, trew the ball and again scored three more points.
"But isn't there anything that you know you're good at?" He asked and probably felt a little bad for me.

"Hmm something I'm good at." I thoughtfully searched around and after some time I finally found something.
I sat down in a car seat and grabbed the wheel infront of me. "Let's race!"

"Are you sure you're good at this?" For some reason he didn't seem to believe that and to be honest neither did I but I've always liked racing games so why not try it. "Hehehe~"

He sat down in the seat beside me and then looked at me. "If you're confident then why don't we make this serious?" I leaned backwards and gave him a confused look. "Serious?
His lips formed into a smile and he seemed very pleased by my curiousity.
"If you win you'll get anything you want from me, but if I win I'll get something from you.. How about it?"

I thought for a second and then turned my attention towards the screen. "Sounds interesting."
