Chapter 19: My real name... and my CRAZY stunt

After a while...

My mom left a while ago. I can't really blame her since she had some stuff to do. I hear a knock on the door. "Come in," I said. The door opens and I see Naruto, Choji, Sakura, and Ino come in. "Davi your awake," Naruto said rushing over to me and hugging me tightly. "Naruto, it's nice to care for me, but unless you want me to die, keep hugging me," I said, choaking on the air. He let go of me. "Sorry, you gave us quite a scare." "Yeah Davi, we thought you died," Ino said sitting next to me. "Well, nothing can kill me." I hear a set of footsteps walk in and turn. I see Sai right there. During the time, I got to know Sai a little better. He's a good friend. "Hey David," He said. I choak on the air. "Who's David," Sakura asked. "Well-." I hopped over and covered his mouth. "Don't say a word," I mumble. "Davi... who's David," Choji asked. I sigh. "My real name is David," I mumble. "What?" "My real name is DAVID," I said making it clear for everyone. "David? Why was your name-," Ino asked. "They thought I was a boy," I interrupted her. I turn to Sai. "How did you know my real name?" I uncover his mouth. "Research," He stated plainly. "HOW. DID. YOU. KNOW. MY. REAL. NAME?" "I was doing research on ninja's for someone and I stumbled apawn yours." I sigh which turned into a groan. I walk slowly back to the bed. "Don't tell Shikamaru," I said to everyone. "Don't tell Shikamaru what," A voice asked. I turn to the door to see Shikamaru. "That Davi is pregnate, oops," Ino said. "INO WHY?! I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS," I ask, playing along. Shikamaru's eyes widen. He fell forward. "Okay, we over-did it," Ino said. I nod. I sigh. I get up and walk over to him. "Shikamaru if you don't get up, I'll tell your mom," I said. He shot up. "Wha? How? Wait who's," He asked. "I'm lying, how would we anyway?" He sighed with relief. "Then tell the truth." I look over at Ino. "Davi it's not going to matter," She said. I nod and return to Shikamaru. "My real name is David," I said dissapointed at the end. "Well that's no problem, I don't care," He said. I looked confused. "Wha," I ask. "You're the only girl in my life who doesn't nag. I don't hate you because of your nickname." "Well I just thought-." "Well you thought wrong. And I talked to the doctor, you're finally released." I smile. "Well then... BBQ is on me!" "Now your talkin," Choji said. "Get out so I can get dressed." I rush everyone out. I get dressed. "Alright, since the guys are gone, I get to do the thing I always wanted to do," I said making sure they could hear from outside. I ran to the window. They open the door. I jump out the door... well it was more of a swan dive. It looked so cool. "DAVI," Someone yelled. I preform handsigns. "Crystal Style: Crystal Pathway." I land on the crystal. It looked like I was floating in mid air. "Whoever gets there the fastest can be the first to order whatever," I yelled at them. They rushed out like crazy. I made it to the BBQ place. None of them were there yet. I'm wacky, but proud. I look to see Choji was the first one here. "I made it, let's go, let's go," He said. "We got to wait for the others," I said giving him a smile. "Oh yeah, and that stunt you pulled was amazing! I guess your practice paid off." I smile at him. I guess it did.
