Uh... hi! please read and LEAVE COMMENTS! I LUVVVV COMMENTS! I am writing this story cuz... er well... I like writing stories about girls getting makeovers, and I can't get enough! I don't want this to be the same as the other stories where girls get pretty though, imma add a twist :] oh, and if you guys have a better title than I have right now, TELL ME! I might just use it.
A promise and a confession [1]
As I got in my car, I braced myself for the jabs and glares. Sure, I've gone through hell for the last 2 and a half years, but I've never quite gotten used to it. I knew I wasn't the prettiest but... Oh hell, what do I have to loose? I was ugly, and nobody liked me because of it. Not even the boy I was in love with...
When I got to school everything I expected happened. And more.
"Hey freak, aren't you missing your job at the circus right now?" Candy said. She was the worst girl at our school. Grade A slut, complete bitch to anyone who got in her way, probably anorexic for all we knew.
I ignored her, like I did with everyone. I walked to class ignoring everyone who was trying to make fun of me. I wouldn't let them get to me.
I knew what I looked like. I had greasy black hair that would never cooperate with me, so I just gave up on it years ago. I have a unibrow, and my hair usually hides my eyes. My lips are extremely chapped, and I usually wear clothes that hide every curve I have. But I like it this way; I could never get hurt.
Then I saw him sitting in class. I knew he would be here, but he never ceased to take my breath away. His name was Brice, he was easily the most popular guy in school, yet he was always alone in class. He was the only one in school tat didn't make fun of me, and I swore to myself, if he ever did, that I would change. For him. For me. For us.
And that promise, that was the promise that changed my entire life forever.
I had never spoken two words to Brice, but soon enough I lost my chance, because the class started filling up. Brice was talking and laughing along with his friends when he said "HEY! ELINA!"
I looked up at him... like I said, never two words... "Yes...?"
"Why don't you back to where ever the hell you moved from? You're not liked here, so why stay?" He asked, in a smart ass tone. Yes, I did move here 3 years ago. That one hit me deep, not only because it came from him, but because when we were moving here, my mother died. She was my best friend.
My vision started to get blurred, and I immediately got up, grabbed my bag, and walked out of the room, as they all laughed behind me. I felt horrible.
As I was leaving I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw a girl, about 5'4, shorter than my height of 5'7. She looked at me and said "What's wrong?"
I looked at her like she was crazy. Talking to me? Like a civilized person? Nobody, and I mean nobody, has ever done that.
"Are you just trying to embarrass me, like everyone else?"
"Um... I'm new here... so... no?"
I looked at her. She seemed serious. "Uh, well..."
"Do you want to go outside or something?" she asked, feeling my discomfort.
"That would be great" I said.
So I went outside, and for the first time, I told someone my story. And that was the best decision of my entire life.

Ok, this is just the beginning. I'll be sure to write some more tomorrow or in a few days! Please, give me feedback. I won't be able to get better without it!
