Usually when you first discover that you have feelings for someone that you shouldn't have feelings for you think "shit."
Shit.
I was hanging out with Tom and Harrison at an arcade when I thought that word. The guys had gotten a day off from set and decided to spend the day as children in an arcade.
They spent a good amount of money on the basketball game versing each other. Let's just say they didn't play any better then they usually do on the court. I was behind them recording their failures, just laughing along.
"Shut up, Y/N," Harrison grumbled as yet another ball bounced off the rim of the basket again.
Walking around to Harrison's side, still recording I said, "You just want enough tickets to get the inflatable Batman."
He threw his last ball and pointed at the camera, "I'm going to get it." To then walk off to play a different game with more tickets to offer. I chuckled as he walked away with his mission.
I ended my video and pocketed my phone, "So, how many tickets do you have?" I asked Tom as I hopped up to sit on the edge of the machine.
"None, I gave them all to Haz so he'd leave us alone to go get his Batman," Tom laughed as he checked the scores on both of the machines.
"Will he have enough?"
Tom shrugged, "He'll definitely have enough to leave my ass alone. One man can handle so much basketball in one sitting."
I laughed as I hopped off of the edge holding up my game card with a smirk, "You down for just one more game though?"
Tom raised an eyebrow then gave me a challenging smile, "You're on."
We played our game that just ended up with us messing around. Tom stole a few of my baskets by stealing two of my basketballs, I couldn't help but mess around too by slapping the ball out of his hands and making him run after them. By the end of the game, it really didn't matter who won because the winner only had ten points.
"I still won," I smiled.
Tom scoffed, "You made five baskets." He laughed and added, "Only because you distracted me."
I rose my eyebrows, "And how did I distract you? It really seems like that you distracted me."
He shrugged his shoulders, crossing his arms over his chest, "I don't think just my presence can distract you like yours does to me."
Shit.
I broke our eye contact to try and find something to change the topic with, freaking out over the feeling of butterflies in my stomach. I grabbed one of the basketballs and pushed it into his chest, asking, "Rematch?"
Tom stuck the ball underneath his arm and scratched the back of his neck, "More like rewind, huh?" He turned back to his machine to try and make a basket while also returning the ball to its rightful place.
I placed a hand on his arm as he lined up the shot. His body stilled as he looked over at me. "Good thing there actually isn't a rewind button, huh?" Deciding to go long with my new found discovery of feelings.
Tom placed the ball down and moved to face me, his hand gripped the edge of the game which was directly alined with my hip. He bowed his head to get a better look at me, "You mean, my previous statement wouldn't make you hit the rewind button?"
I gave him a small smile, "If anything it would make me hit the fast forward button to this moment."
And just has he started to lean forward Harrison popped up with his Batman. "I'm Batman, I fucked Catwoman and Talia al Ghul."
