You sat in the back seat of your dad's mini van as your two older brothers sat in front of you. If you didn't get the hint, you were in the seat in the trunk. You all were heading to the pet store since (1bb/n) won the soccer match.

You also got honours in (fav/ subject) and (2bb/n) won a chess tournament. "Ok, guys... and gal," you looked down and rubbed your bandaged arm, "we're here!" You crawled over the seat before exiting the van. You saw a large building with animal stickers and pictures on the windows.

You followed the three before seeing fish, birds, and lizards in glass containers or cages. You felt your dad pushing you ahead before you looked at him. "Go on (y/n)! Go find a pet!" Your dad encouraged. You walked around before seeing a cat. You tilted your head before the cat tilting its head.

You smiled before noticing it had lots of black and white fur patterns. It had mismatching eyes and the collar of a sweater. An employee walked over as you smiled at the cat. "You like Dings?" You turned to the employee and nodded.

The employee smiled at you before reaching for the cat and handing him to you. "Here you go!"

You sighed as your cat, Gaster, laid next to you on your bed. Remember when you got Gaster? (You better cuz you just read it.) Well, your mom didn't approve it.

So, long story short, your patents fought and your mom moved out. Your brothers and dad started to beat eachother up. Leaving you with Gaster. Gaster heard you sniffle before Gaster looked at you. You had your knees close to your chest as tears rolled down your eyes.

Gaster, without using his claws, climbed up until you slid your knees down a little. You looked at Gaster before he used his rough pink tounge to lick away some tears. You smiled before Gaster started to nuzzled your neck. "W-W-Wait! Gahahaster! Dohohon't do thahahat!" You giggled as Gaster purred softly.

Gaster soon curled up on your lap before you petted Gaster's back. Gaster purred as you chuckled. "At least I have you, Dings." You said as you used your free hand to wipe away some tears. Gaster purred in agreement before you chuckled.
