The two skeletons were helping the police look around town as Akumu tucked you into bed. Akumu then gave you a little Betty plushie your older sister made for you when she was teaching you to speak. Akumu heard something at the door before growling. Akumu stayed close to you.

You woke up when the door was brought down. "Check this shed, and do not alarm the child!" You whimpered as you brought the Betty plushie close to your chest. Then you heard someone slowly opening your bedroom door. You gasped as Akumu growled.

You saw the taller skeleton and a fish woman in a police uniform. "Child, you have no reason to fear us." The taller skeleton said. "B-But that m...mean skeleton h..hurt m..m..my chest!" You said as Akumu kept growling. "We know!" The fish lady said,"But he isn't with us. We promise."

You looked at the two before Akumu wrapped you in the blanket. "Now, could you please come with us?" The tall skeleton asked. You shivered before the fish lady went over to you. "Don't worry, I'll keep you away from Sans." Akumu snarled before you petted it. "No Kumu. Quiet."

The taller skeleton picked you up as Akumu turned into a necklace. "What's your name?" The tall skeleton asked. "I..I am (y/n)..." You answered. "I am Gaster, and this is Undyne." You looked at the fish lady before she smiled and ruffled your hair. "Don't worry gubby!" Undyne said.

Gaster carried you into a car before Undyne got in and drove to a large house. Gaster got out as you carried the Betty plushie and the blanket. Gaster noticed the plushie and paused. "Come on gubby!" Undyne said before you trotted to her side.

"Let me go in first, Undyne." Gaster said before Undyne nodded. You waited next to Undyne as Gaster went inside. "So, you go to Toriel's school?" Undyne asked.

You nodded before Undyne chuckled. "Do you beat up the boys?" You shook your head before Undyne snapped her fingers. "Shoot. You seem like the girl to do that." Undyne said playfully.

You beamed before Gaster opened the door and waved you both to come in. Undyne led you in before you saw three goat monsters, a human child, and a very tall skeleton. "My child!" Toriel hugged you, which alarmed you and Akumu, tightly and gently.

- Time Skip -

After a long talk, everyone decided it would be best if you lived with Gaster in his lab. You were walking into Gaster's lab as Akumu floated above you. "Morning G!" You greeted. "Good morning (y/n)." Gaster replied. Akumu snickered as you went to sneak Gaster's journal.

Gaster saw you from the corner of his socket before two hands grabbed your wrists and lifted you up. "And what do you think you're doing?" Gaster asked with a smirk. "N...n..nothing!" You said before nervously giggling. Gaster chuckled before he placed you down.

"Go get some breakfast. We're visiting Frisk today." Gaster said as he nudged you. You and Akumu went into the kitchen before anything else. Akumu got the cookie jar before you both had a cookie.
