Swapfell x Sick! Child! Reader

Swapfell watched from the doorway as WingDing and Stars did some tests on you. You have been coughing up blood and wheezing. Not to mention that you've been losing weight like crazy. Swapfell knew what illness you had.

You have lung cancer.

How did he know this? Well, he actually has a sister named Arial who had it and lived. "Get some rest, (y/n)." WingDing said as the two skeletons got up and left the room. Swapfell waited until he walked in. "Hey, (y/n), wake up bud."

You opened your eyes and turned your head to see Swapfell. "U...uncle s..Swapfell?" You said before seeing him nod. "How are you doing?" Swapfell asked. "M..m..my chest feels like it's c..ca..caving in..." You whimpered. "Shhh. I know. I know." Swapfell cooed as he gently rubbed your forehead.

'I feel like I'm back in time... except (y/n) isn't a rabbit monster...' Swapfell thought. "Do you think you can stay awake for a few minutes?" Swapfell asked. You nodded as tears filled your eyes. "W..where are you going?" You asked, slightly sacred.

"I'm going to get something. I'll be right back." Swapfell said. Swapfell got up before stopping himself. He took off his jacket and had you wear it. "It's poofy." You chirped. Swapfell smiled before trotting into the kitchen and getting some methotrexate and gefitinib. Swapfell came back before going back for a bottle of water.

Swapfell helped you sit up and had you take the methotrexate first. He waited an hour, just like he did with Arial, before he had you take the gefitinib. Swapfell took the water bottle before he rubbed the top of your head.

You smiled before noticing tears in his sockets. "Uncle S...Swapfell? Are you ok?" You asked. "Huh? Oh yeah. I'm fine." Swapfell said before he left.

- Time Skip -

It's been about two months (BOOM! We had a calendar!) and you were past the cancer. WingDing and Stars found the empty bottles and containers before asking where you got these.

You answered honestly before running off. Swapfell was walking by when you hugged his leg. Swapfell was wide sockets before he knelt down and hugged you. "I love you Uncle Swapfell!" You said. "I... I love you too..." Swapfell said.

Arial waited by her and Swapfell's bed when be heard Swapfell grunt. She hopped off the bed to see a monster holding Swapfell by his collar. "Do that ever again, and you can kiss your bunny friend good bye." The monster growled before Swapfell was dropped and left alone. "Gaster!" Arial said as she ran to him.

Arial helped Swapfell up before she hugged him. Swapfell hugged her back without hesitation. "I love you Gaster!" Arial said as her little bunny tail wagged. "I loce you too Arial!" Swapfell said as he held her close.
