Once again, lying down in bed, She couldn't hear anything. Not the noises all her siblings would make during the night or Richie yelling at her mother. Only the clock ticking those seconds, minutes, and hours away. She stared at her clock barely seeing the numbers in the scarcely lit room, it was 12:01 AM, School started in 6 hours. She felt the stress of not getting enough sleep for school, she had thought maybe she was becoming an insomniac or it was just the case of the nerves washing upon her.

She heard a tap on her window. Passing the thought off as the wind moving a few branches, Eleanor turned in bed trying to get comfortable and getting as much sleep as possible.

Tap Tap Tap.

Chills rose up her spine, she slowly stopped breathing as if whatever was outside was going to scaled up alongside the walls of the house with disgustingly long fingers and a mouth with razor teeth just waiting with it's beady eyes to feast on her..

Once again the sounds happened again. Eleanor then heard a faint voice from outside, Harsh whispers with her name on it's tongue. Finally mustering up all the possible courage, pushing herself up from bed, With faint footsteps she peeked over the curtain and there was a shadow figure of a person that stood there. She felt the uneasiness in her stomach, While standing partially away from the window there was another tap on the window. Now her heart rate was hastening in her chest. "Open your window Eleanor!" the familiar voice whispered.

With a sigh of relief, she almost felt her legs give away from all the suspense.

Eleanor glanced behind her back just in case her aunt could hear it from downstairs, it was the paranoia of Richie haunting her thoughts like this. She unfastened the hook on her window and pushed the pane of the glass. The cool wind of the night had hit her, Not caring she looked down upon the ground, there he was with the goofy smile Eleanor had thought. Asbel was waving with the smirky grin of his. He was dressed in just a black plaid button up with his typical ripped black jeans. If she didn't know what kind of goofball he was, She'd think he was in a rock band. "It's a little chilly down there isn't it?" She had laughed.

"It's not that bad trust me, I've been running all over town so I'm kind of sweaty" he said with a toothy smile.

Asbel had reminded her of someone she knew and it killed her to think of Asbel as Park's replacement. The pain of their separation was still weighing heavy on her chest. She gave Asbel a adoringly stare.

"Do you want to come up?" She had waved in.

"Yeah that'd be great, my nose is about to freeze off." He smiled that toothy smile again.
