Lance = Laura
Keith = Keira
Pidge = Katie (Duh)
Hunk = Hannah
Shiro = Saoirse (👄: Seersha)
Allura = Alun (Surprisingly real!)

Laura POV

I hear the buzz of my phone alarm ring beside me, I lazily smash my hand off it for it to stop. I'm not willing to do this whole school cycle again, especially not this year! 6th year, the exams where you gain points to head to college, this is the year you study your ass off for this stupid fake numbers.

I lift myself off the bed and head downstairs, no one is awake so...great. After having breakfast, I slipped on my uniform which is literally a shirt, a navy jumper and cheque skirt, yes..cheque. That's when I hear my siblings awake, "bonus"!
"Laura are you ready!?"
I hear mama call.
"Yes mama!"
I run down stairs and check the time. 8:06am, not bad! I give myself one final check in the mirror.
"Okay! Hmm! Looking good-"
"LAURA!!"
I jump.
"SORRY MAMA!"
I head out to the car and my mama drives me to school.
"Hunny do you really need to check yourself out EVERY day?"
I roll my eyes.
"Yes mama! I'm trying to look my best, this year is the year I find someone, prom is literally at the end of the year!"
Mama rolls her eyes but smiles.
"Of course, no one is as pretty as you my estrella!"
I smile over at her.
"Thanks mama- OOH WE'RE HERE!"
Mama stops the car by the entrance, I place a kiss on her cheek.
"See ya!"
I slam the door after grabbing my bag.

I walked through the door and met up with "Da squad!" As we call it!
"Laura!"
Katie walks up to me. Hannah comes up behind her, giving me a wave.
"Hey guys! How's summer?"
"I wish it didn't end!"
Hannah says sorrowfully.
"I know, but we have to get pass this year! It's our last year! Then we can get out of this hellhole!"
Katie says with a hint of determination.
"I'm just waiting for the future Mr McClain! And everything will be alright!"
Katie rolls her eyes and Hannah groans.
"What? I say Alun will be mine trust me!"
Katie looks at me as if I was dumb.
"Laura seriously! Alun would not be into you!"
I jolt up and glare at her.
"What do you mean? I'm hot! What does he not like?"
"Well, you always flirt with him even though he's clearly not interested! He was seen hanging with some girl over the summer!"
My eyes widen.
"Spill Katie!"
Katie chuckles at my action.
"I think her name was Saoirse? I can't remember but, she has like-"
Katie looks at the door as it opened. Two girls came in. One who's taller, has black long hair that's tied into a ponytail, her fringe is a platinum grey. The girl beside her seemed younger, but yet the same age? She had jet black hair that reached to her shoulders.
"That's the girl, the one with the white fringe!"
"Crap I can't compete with her!"
I whisper shout.
I tried to see anything that wasn't good about the girl that was with Alun but my eyes kept going to the smaller girl. I shake my head out of the "trance"
"Guys! Let's get our locker keys!"
They both nod in agreement and we head to the locker room. The caretaker gave us our keys and we placed our books and belongings in our locker. The bell soon rings and we head to class, wonder what the seating is like?

We get to our classroom for PC and met up with our PC teacher.
"Okay so this year, the seats are arranged in alphabetical order with your first name!"
She started calling out names to be seated. After a few names, Hunk and Katie were called out.
"Okay next, Laura McClain and Keira Kogane"
I walk up to my seat while looking back and seeing that I'm being seated with the same girl that was with that Saoirse one. I take my seat, flogging my bag underneath the desk. Keira took her seat beside me, she placed her bag under her desk. She's actually a bit smaller than me, which was kinda cut- WAIT W-WHAT!? No! Stop mind wtf!? After calming my mind down and everyone got their places, the bell rang and we awaited our first teacher.

"So you're Laura?"
I jump a tiny bit at the sudden talk. I turn to the girl beside me.
"Y-yes, and your name is Keira?"
Keira nods.
"Well, since we're sitting beside each other we should at least get to know each other"
I nod, giving her a small smile.
"Well, okay, you know my name so, I'm 17, turning 18 on July 28th, I have 3 older siblings and I'm Cuban!"
She looks at me, probably trying to take in what I've said.
"Okay, I'm also 17, turning 18 October 23rd and-"
"Ooh! You're a Scorpio!!
Scorpios and Leos get on very well together!"
I pipe in.
"O-okay, I have a sister who's actually older, surprise I'm adopted and I'm Korean!"
"You're adopted? Nice!"
She leans down on her hand.
"Ehh it's alright I guess!"
She gives off a small smile as the teacher walks in.

Are we friends? Maybe?
